    Leeds United are trying to bring Lee Bowyer back to Elland Road, skysports.com understands.

    Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has admitted that the club are close to luring former player Lee Bowyer back to Elland Road.

    Bowyer is out of contract after coming to the end of his contract at Ipswich Town.

    Bowyer was signed by Howard Wilkinson in 1996 and went on to make over 200 appearances for Leeds in a seven-year stint.

    Bite his hand off, especially as the new FFP rules mean all players must be a little more circcmspect about their demands.

    But I don't think Bates will allow us to buy anyone from the Ridsdale era

    I know what bet it was :) he bet Leicester would finish the season above Hull. Ha, what a loser.

    It would be really sad if we failed to win on Saturday now. Two clubs spending **** all managing to finish above the super rich Champion's Elect <laugh>
