I'll have my bottle ready at around 10.00 pm on Monday night at the end of Silent Witness! We'll draw tomorrow, Leicester and WHU slug out a draw on Monday! Simple!
I'm going tomorrow. Having missed the last two games (only missed 3 all season, for goodness sake!), I am so wound up. My kids asked me if I felt like we'd lost a Cup Final after we'd lost to Reading. No, I said, we've 3 chances to put it right. In fact, I'm more excited and yet anxious about tomorrow than I ever was going to a Final. Lose a final, and you lose a cup. Lose the next two games and we're playing at Peterborough next season, not Darren Ferguson's dad's place. It's going to be absolutely amazing, and I could no more listen to this one on the radio than switch allegiance to Pompey. Commiserations Lamballana. I'll give 'em a shout for you.
I'm working but will be back on sofa by 5.00 to start watching match. I say start, because I have never finished watching a match (except the Blackpool one!!! because my son refused to turn it off).
Cheers Channon! Of course we could lose the next two games and still be playing at Man U next season. West Ham could easily lose at Leicester and Hull at home is no gimme especially if they still have a chance of the play-offs. No need to worry about that though let's just win tomorrow!
Bumped. Where will we all be tonight? 1. Watching at home/pub or hiding behind the sofa 2. Pretending it's not happening 3. Watching silent witness Part of me doesn't want to watch but I just know I'm going to have to!
I will be trying not to watch. One nil to either side would be too stressful...I can wait till the end. Nigel says he will be playing backgammon as he wants to do the same. Wonder how he will find an opponent who isn't watching the game!!
Are you sure he won't be doing what he normally does on a day off?!?! I'd rather be doing that instead of watching West Ham to be fair!!
I will be cowering in my room, probaly playing football manager trying to resist the urge to take a look at the score till it's over Although Schneiderlin is the goal king will probably stop me -_-
Ok less than 24 hours to go and 32K Saints fans will be packed into St Mary's but what about the rest of us? Mrs Lamballana has decided to go shopping sensibly realising that I will probably be swearing at the crap BBC coverage, the referee, the weather etcetc. So I will be at home watching with the eldest son wishing I was there and sending positive thoughts. What about everyone else?
I'd hate for Tony Cottee to be gutted with your game going well for you I'll be at the Den now as a change of plan as someone else will be driving around shammer land announcing you score updates but its an extremely loud system which I'll still hear from the Den
Muswell Hill mate. Deep Gooner country is N10. Few Spuds, some Chavski, though funnily enough I'm not the only Saint on the hill.
Ok cool so Archway area then? I work at the London Met Uni on Holloway road mate so I'm sure you've heard of it at the very least this side of the river?
I know where that is, a stones throw from the Emirates. Been on a few pub crawls up and down the Holloway Road back in the day, usually ending in the Archway Tavern.
