The postponed reserve match against Villa has been re-arranged to be played at Motspur Park -

My complaint however is that yet again it is at 2pm and behind closed doors, as is their next game. Why? I understand the reason that the public (ie us fans) are not being allowed entry during the afternoon is because the main squad may be around. So why not play reserve games at some other time?

First up, it's great that we are back to having a proper reserve team, playing competitive games. But from a fan's perspective I'd actually like to see our up and coming stars perform. I remember the good old days when you would go to a match every week; the 1st team one, the reserves the next. You would know the reserve players (well most of them) just as well as the main names. How many of you could currently name the reserve squad and their positions never mind whether they were worth the salt? Only Valj I bet, and how we are missing him.

It was also a great grounding for younger fans to get involved with the club (and cheaper).

Since January this year there has only been one reserve game played at 7pm midweek which we could attend (against Arsenal which we won 1-0). Just as bad the reports of games (and players) on the Club website are at best paltry. Why don't they invite some budding young journalists (as part of the Foundation Scheme?) along to give better coverage? Maybe even a mini-newsletter.

Rightly the Club make a big thing about their Development programme. But "Come on Fulham" give the fans a better deal.

This has really wound me up the past two years. We have exciting young players, yet the club hardly ever put up reserves/academy reports. Were it not for this board, I'd be clueless. That doesn't help the club, in terms of bringing new players in. I can only guess at either 1. The club doesn't think the fans would be interested or 2. It simply hasn't occurred to anyone yet.

I will consume all the media output Fulham put out there. It's part of being a fan!
