I've never seen Boyzone perform live so should I not have an opinion on them? (They're brilliant btw )
Why? I enjoy watching the Glasgow derby. I enjoy stuffing you monkey Hun ****s. I would like to do it every day and twice on a Sunday I object to the "Old Firm" tag.
Are we getting into the realms of what it means to be a supporter? Is there a difference between a supporter and a fan? Is that where this is going?
I dont think anyone can comment on whether or not they would miss an old firm if they've never been to one before
Nah. I think it's fair of me to say I'd miss the champions league final if they abandoned the tournament. Never been to anything beyond a group stage game
My initial comment was an objection to the term. Not whether I would miss the Glasgow derby. I think the premise that you need to have been to one to state whether you would miss it or not is utter balls. There are many different ways of experiencing a derby game and some of my best experiences of them have come several thousand miles away from Glasgow.
Trevor you have made the same point several times, it doesn't make it anymore relevant by repeating it time and time again. I will be glad to see the end of Celtic Rangers matches. To me there is nothing worse for me to have to spend a couple of hours to have to listen and watch the Rangers fans. I know they are bad enough in the pit of hate Ibrox but the exceptional low life that travel to Celtic Park really are unfit citizens to attend Football matches. I dread to think what will happen to us Celtic fans if we happen to win on Sunday. Anyone who says they enjoy the atmosphere of a Celtic/Rangers match is either a very strange person or one who can tell lies.
