After totally denying any wrong doing
"It does look bad on the replay," Terry told Sky Sports. "I raised my knee but hopefully the people out there who know me, know I'm not that kind of player."

But we know you are that type of player, and his character try's to hide behind some angelic mask, that he never does anything wrong.

He's a psychopath who are generally regarded as callous, selfish, dishonest, arrogant, aggressive, impulsive, irresponsible, and hedonistic.

His history backs all these up, and that's only the things we know about and have seen.

But the big problem is other people try to back him up, so they are in denial of the type of person he is.

    You're absolutely right, Super Bri.

This is what happens when mere men are treated like Gods. Suddenly the simplest forms of human decency are tossed out and everything you say and do (lying, racially abusing, screwing a teammate's girlfriend) is alright.

He's a great player, but a rotten human being.

In Terry's defence he is not reknown for these sort of moments on the pitch (alleged racism aside). Off the pitch (although I've never met him) some of the stuff he has done is if true then completely inexcusable. Normally this is partially offset by his outstanding qualities as a defender, but tonight's conduct was shameful and he deserves to miss the final for that.

I also found that quote hilarious, it would be like finding a man lying on the floor outside a club writhing in pain with Joey Barton standing over him, and when the policeman asks him his involvement he replies 'Don't you know who I am? How can you think I would be involved with this?'

The man is absolute scum, and the only consolation for me from Chelsea reaching the final is that he (and many others) will miss out. Still, it's a shame we won't get to see him bawl his eyes out again when Chelsea's luck inevitably runs out.

Terry is a scumbag, but he's done much, much worse than the offence he got sent off for last night.

Look at his family record then you may see where he gets it from.

Terry is a scum. The worse of the kind that exist in football. He should be punished by Uefa accordingly!

This is what I mean by people pandering to this psychopath.

It's been reported that Lampard has said that Terry should be allowed to be
presented with the Champions League Trophy should Chelsea win it.

Why can they not see that Terry is a mental case, I don't give him much
chance of staying out of trouble, once his football career is over.

I used to think Lampard was one of the (marginally) more intelligent Chelsea players but if he's making stupid statements like that I was clearly wrong.

This whole 'those suspended should be able to play in the final' nonsense is ridiculous! Could you imagine Utd getting suspended players back for the crunch game against City next week? If you're on a yellow card and one away from a suspension then you know the risks of going in for meaty challenges, therefore should not have your cards rescinded.

I hope Munchen tear Chelsea a new one ... It's home field advantage for Bayern so I fully expect a win.

I would love for Bayern to win the CL, Germany went up in my estimation after the last World Cup. They play the right style of football and they do it with a good blend of youth and experience. With players like Gomez, Robben, Ribery, Lahm etc I think they will prevail, but we all know how lucky Chelsea have been...

Chelsea haven not been lucky to get to the final, they fully deserve to be there. However I will join you in hoping Bayern give them a good hammering in the final.

Just so I'm clear, is it two yellow cards two legs of the semi, two cards over the knockouts, or two cards over the whole tournament? If it's the latter that does seem harsh and should be reviewed, but saying players should have their cards just waived is a bit silly.

In my opinion, Chelsea were fortunate to get past both Napoli and Benfica, and we all know about their good fortune against Barcelona. Maybe that's just my Bayern bias speaking though, they are one of the few European teams whose results I keep an eye out for.

Bidley, I don't think it's over the course of the entire tournament, as teams are allowed to make revisions to register players both before the group stage and at the knockout stage. I would think it's just from the knockout stage, I just think that these players (especially John Terry) are in full control of their actions and if they don't want to risk a yellow card then they need to adapt to how they go in for challenges.

Bandit, I agree completely. Chelsea have been quite fortunate to get to this place. I guess it's better to be lucky than good.

This whole years seems strange to me, in retrospect. The two best teams by miles were ManU and ManC, yet both teams are fighting for one trophy (league title) while Liverpool may walk away with two pieces of silver (FA and Carling cups) and Chelsea with the Champions's League trophy. How did that happen?

This Utd team, despite them being at the top of the PL has been one of the worst in recent memory and were woeful in both the CL and EL, although I'm not sure they took the EL all that seriously. City are still a group of primadonnas and unless they can learn to play like a team and not a bunch of individuals they will never go far in Europe. We all know Chelsea have been lucky, and Liverpool? I honestly have no idea how they could finish the season with two trophies. Probably because all league ambitions went out the window a while back so the cups were all they could focus on.

You're right, but lets not forget that yelow cards aren't only dealt for making brash challenges. Without wanting to start another referee debate, it's completely arbitrary. Not that that applies to Chelsea, so it's neither here nor there.

I think Man Utd certainly have a strong side, they just don't perform most of the time. It's testament to Fergies genius, if anything.

I know that Bidley, but if any of the yellow cards were unjust or undeserved surely the club would be able to appeal, which as you rightly say, this doesn't apply to any of the yellow or red cards Chelsea picked up.
