yep the 250k that Fox Soccer attracts will be a massive exposure out of 350Million.

Aren't Fox part of News Corp the SUN owners? Nice of your owners to sign up with them.

    UPDATE:
Appears I made a mistake. The average viewers for a Prem game on Fox Soccer is 142k. Massive exposure there.

Cheap shot and you know it!

There are some concerns as have already been expressed with regard to Fox's ownership. However, FSC does have a large US base to work from plus it is a major carrier for for cable viewers in the Caribbean countries and many in Central and South America. The potential exposure for LFC is huge.

Do you have a life outside of Liverpool Football Club?
Whilst it's very flattering that you have this love affair with us, I'm starting to get a little worried for you.

You really should do some more homework and do it more carefully. Fox Soccer Channel is available in over 40% of the homes in the US served by cable. FSC is regularly carried by virtually all of the cable providers throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America. Fox has also carried a number of prem games on its national network. The US audience for FSC has grown by 75% each year for the last 3 years according to Nielsen. When you look closer, it's not the total numbers that you have to look at (in comparison to say 'normal' domestic audiences in the US) but the age range of those audiences who tend to be younger and have a genuine interest in football. The potential to develop new fans is huge!

Our owners are thinking of the future(whether Kenny is our manager or not Drogs.<grr>),and they are cherrypicking US high rollers like Fox Soccer Channel and Warrior Sports,if as predicted the game continues to grow in the USA you can bet that FSG's continuing work over there now will benefit us and them in the long run.

The point is that the market for football is growing in the US. The audience is young. It is highly likely that US 'soccer' fans will grow up with twin allegiances - one to a MLS side and one from Europe or South America. The more that we can do to ensure that they grow up as Liverpool fans the better. This documentary is not going to do that by itself but it is certainly the start of a strategy to ensure that we are one of the major players in developing that following. Flowing from that there is a vast potential income generation stream.

When it comes to the whole FOX - News International business, how much influence did Murdoch actually have that day? I doubt he writes the headlines (unless he wants to). Sure, he could have forced the S*n to apologise earlier but the problem was always the paper's style - sensationalist, poor journalism for the masses.

We can, however, hate Murdoch for other reasons, such as the unprecedented oligarch-al tendencies he appears to have, his influence on No10 and so on.

Regardless, just watch the thing for free on YouTube, to which it will inevitably be uploaded.

Murdoch probably had no input into his papers' coverage on the day, nevertheless the man at the top has to take ultimate responsibility- the buck stops with him.
He could have sacked those responsible and issued an unequivocal retraction and apology.
I know there were some miserable, half-hearted apologies further down the line but nothing like there should have been. To my mind, Murdoch was equally responsible as MacKenzie in this.

I have.I have given actual viewing figures for games.Other shows get even less,I was being generous.I have actual factual verifiable viewing figures you have what? Hope that all of a sudden millions will turn it to watch you? Why would they when they don't even watch your games?
I thought I'd heard all your deluded ramblings but now you've excelled yourself.

    And a News Corp company.Hypocrites.

All of my claims are verifiable. However you have clearly demonstrated that you have no idea about startegic market development and communications policy. So don't come the big man.

Maybe we can convince top players to sign by letting them appear on TV. Ronaldo and Balotteli would be in!

For starters i would direct you to the Ansoff matrix and the Boston Consulting Group's Growth/Share and Advantage matrices. When you have perused them I will be only too willing to discuss strategic market development with you.
