If you can get a template made for it then you should be able to do it. I would put myself forward but i dont know where my life is going next. I might end up at dads without the internet. I will be in for a long weekend lol. I have uni friday, then i will be refereeing the football, then i have to return home to pack for dads and then drive down that night. Then i will be arriving at Vicarage Road for about 9:00 so i can try to get a shirt of a player. Then i will be about after the match too. Then i have an assignment to work in for the rest of the weekend. I cannot wait!!!
Thank you very much for your offer H. With your various commitments it is great that you should even think about it. As one of those who should in theory have more time I feel somewhat guilty that I do not really have the skills to put up any info that I might be able to lay my hands on. ak's match threads have been in a class of their own if you look around, so whoever takes it on should not feel that they must keep that sort of standard up. Whatever is provided for us I will try and keep clattering away during the game for those who cannot hear it. It is fun sharing that with Yorkie as we seem to hear the same commentary but at different times.
I could try having a whack at the threads next season. Like H, can't guarantee anything though! But I'm pretty familiar with how the board and all the little functions work Anyway, great thread again Ak, I'm going for a 3-2 win
Thanks M Frenchie, i'm okay with basic html so it shouldn't be too taxing, except for the info part..at least i can make it look pretty lol. And as you say, the important bit is what happens on the day, which i'm not around for quite so much! D, thanks for the offer! ...i don't mind either way
Glad to see that we have some offers. It'll be good to continue the tradition. I appreciate Ak's position, I've been there myself and don't fancy doing two or three a week on a regular basis again. But I'm happy to act as a safety net during the season as needed: if there isn't a match thread up say, 24 hours before the game, I'll knock one out if I'm around.
I doubt it Mex. We should have the pitch and the Sw corner done, but LB wants/has to get the corner done before he is able to move the dressing rooms and equipment over. However, i suspect that by 2014 we will be back to full capacity.
You do not need html xml or any other coputer language to write this thread, it is written in arial 10 font in a word document. After that the text is pasted into a thread and I set the text size and colour, spacing and the other things like position, pictures and the links are in the original text as hyperlinks. Writing the threads has helped my english and the word program looks after spelling and grammar for me.
well i'm sure noone could reach this high standard Ak, but whoever does it will surely have a darn good go, with or without html
