i too know both mel's and i and others worked tirelessly trying to raise funds to save us, i was working at the vetch in those days and know exactly how much effort and time everyone put in to save the club. my contribution was miniscule but at least i gave my time to the club that has been a part of me since i was a young lad.

tosh im not sure about. i think he could have one of the gates named after him. i thought he was ok until i had the misfortune to meet him and i found he was the most arrogant person i have ever met.....very rude with an ego so big he had to walk sideways through the double doors to get in...

How can you name stands in a stadium you don't own, and share with a rugby team .

99, Waited outside the Liberty with my boy wanting the usual autographs all the players happy to oblige. Tosh emerged and my boy asked him for his autograph, he was as you say rude, arrogant you name it he was it. Never gave the kids the time of day. So NO never in the month of Sunday's name a stand after him.

Fair enough just thought i`d throw it out there to see if oppinions on him had thawed ! going by first couple of replys they obviously have not .
I never met him personaly as a youngster in the old glory days but i liked what he did on the field with and for us.

The buzz was amazing at the vetch back then maybe because when it was packed to the rafters the noise was incredible, and there was plenty to make noise about with some great footy and wins .

I can tell you this though i think he will be remembered of the top of our heads quicker than a lot of managers we`ve had since him in 30 years from now ? by those lucky enough to still be around <whistle>

We should get a big sign outside the stadium, say 50 foot high saying "Welcome to Swansea, Wales 1st and only Premier League team"
