Has anyone heard of when Chamberlain and Lallana could return to the first team.

Obviously they haven't said anything on the OS and the Echo talks BS so was wondering if anyone knew the actual extent of their injuries?

    Cheers.

If I told you I'd have to kill you. What happens at St Mary's stays at St Mary's! You know the rules.

I don't think it can be good news as we would have heard by now.
Adkins would want to put the fans fears to rest.

It's either that, or they might be back for the next game and Nigel wants to keep Dons in suspense as to whether they play or not - he's said before that he's a fan of not disclosing injury news so opponents don't gain more knowledge about who's playing...

They way they came off I would me more than a little surprised to see either play in our next game. Oxo may miss just the one being young he should heal quickly as well. I think we will see a much different bench against the Dons incase we need to bring subs on as impact players.

i know it may surprise the opposition but i cant stand the quietness around saints all the time, transfer deals are never leaked until the transfers fully sealed and injuries are never disclosed either! really annoying!

i can see your point, but tbh as a fan, i would rather have a done deal, then the chairman saying the target and then it not happening, that would be more disappointing than knowing you have someone but not knowing anything about it till its sealed.

Well of the two I guess Adam is the more important. As long as we aren't rushing him too quickly.

Bit concerned he has had so many niggles this season.

Latest news from club spokesman Jordan Sibley on twitter:

Adkins on injuries: Lallana available for weekend, Chamberlain in a protective boot for 2 weeks and will be reassessed then. #saintsfc

Not too bad I guess, will miss Chambo but at least Lallana is back. Confirms what Jaidi said.

Who would You play instead of Chamberlain? Gully for me in a narrow midfield.

Thanks for the update, that's great news about Lallana. Shame about Chamberlain, but that still doesn't sound too horrendous considering how bad it could have been...

I would stick Stephens into a narrow midfield if Nigel thinks he's ready. Or Forte down the wing.
