Keep us updated It is very hard managing a team that a) you've never heard of and b) aren't very good. My Spanish 6th Division save didn't get to a good start, 1 win in nine. Plus, I have score eight goals - seven of which have been from one player. Don't think I can be bothered with this one
Brazil won the world cup in 2018 on my save and they had 3 of my players in their team, one new one that I had just got from the Brazilian league was named in the world cup team of the year, he set up the winner aswell.
Blackburn have just come back up to the Premiership after 2 years in The Championship and the season hasn't started yet and they have already spent 34 million, it is a joke, I was second and I have no where near that amount.
Have started the second season. Lost 3-1 away to Man City in first game so hardly surprising. Have signed Jake Livermore (Spurs) and Jack Robinson (Liverpool) on season long loans. Also Joe Allen (Swansea) Mariga on a free from Inter, Ryan Bennett (Norwich) and Fierro from Chivas on a ore contract. Reading and Swansea both came up with me and both have spent about £10-15m each! I've spent I think about £8m but it's all paid in monthly instalments!
I just sold a few more players and have loaned out a few, the ones I have loaned out are very good players but they have not had much football over the last year, one of them have not lived up to what he should be.
The friendlies have gone well so far, I am happy with the team, just hope they can continue in the league.
Ah man, Berwick Rangers in Scotland (didn't realise Berwick was in Scotland but oh well) managed three back to back promotions (coming first each time no less) from Scottish Division 3 to SPL, and they just got relegated on 15 points in their first season Fairytale story is over!
Would that be Guiseppe (sp?) Prestia? I also signed him in my first season. He was useless haha, let him go on a free when his contract ran out. Potential of 5 star doesn't really mean much, that all depends on how good the scout is and whether you use him regularly/send out on loan to a decent team/doesn't get any horrific injuries as a youngster.
He was a bit-part player on loan for me with a future fee of £5m. Then the season ended and I extended his loan for another season, and changed the future fee to £2.5m!
Let's see if he can beat the record Fierro has on mine. 42 goals in 31 league games. 49 in 45 in all competitions.
I'll let you know at the end of the season, but I doubt it - 11 in 7 league games so far. Had a regen on FM 10 (may have been 09) who got over 100 in all competitions including about 60 in the league. That game got pretty stupid.
Just made it to the Champions League final for the first time after a 5-0 aggregate victory over Real Madrid, but Fierro got himself suspended
