I like the look of Donald McCains UBALTIQUE in the first at Perth. It won on very testing ground on his debut at Pau but on his first try for McCain he was beaten in a class 2 on good going. He is dropped massively in class here and is proven on the ground. At 9-2 I think he could be a bit of value to send the Irish raiders packing!

I think Odddy put that one up on debut for Mccain Stick - he wasn't best pleased <rofl>. Has to have a chance today in that ground down in grade. GL

Do you know Red I had something very similar. No ‘top table’ today but a Chicken Caesar wrap, followed by some Hula Hoops and a big juicy apple.

Haven’t looked at today’s racing I must confess but am delighted that GOLDEN ELECTRA has been declared to run at Punchestown tomorrow (7.10). Sporting Life are going 16/1, the filly won’t mind the ground and she is a million times better than her debut run.

    15.00 Perth- Knockando

Bit of an outsider but a decent e/w price- has form on the ground over this distance, won 2 of last 3 handicaps over 3m at ayr and 25f @ Wetherby but was well beaten lto over 2m- If you can excuse the last run he Lucinda Russells best chance of some prize money

Race of the day is the 5.30 at Punchestown - Quevega vs Voler La Vedette - I know Quevega has beaten Voler in their last two meetings but the latter might win today because of the going - fairly sure Quevega would win on good going even though Voler ran the race of her life when 2nd to Big Bucks in the World Hurdle.
