not quite, we (hopefully) go in to the play offs with potentially a 10 game unbeaten run, i agree its not a guaranteed 3 points as palace are a decent side but the odds are stacked in our favour.

yea i agree dai, but this group of players have nerves of steel as evidenced by 2 penalty shoot out victories in the cup run, as well as taking a good side to pens....its a new group of players and manager so i dont buy this thing that the club as a whole has thrown away opportunities to get promoted in the past.

but often the club who stumble into the play offs go in with nothing to lose and perhaps play with a bit less pressure on their shoulders, for example if its a cardiff west ham final, its promotion or bust for west ham, whereas we have a relatively young squad who will try again next year and will only improve with a few additions..

Not at all. I actually give Aber credit for stating that the club did the right thing in banning him. Takes a pretty big guy to say that.

    Siam.

I was actually referring to the nature/quality/content of his postings on this Forum. The fact that he has been banned does not interest me particularly.

As for aber being "a pretty big guy",well,I will bow down to your greater knowledge of him.

His demeanour, and rhetoric, make him anything but "a pretty big guy" in my book, but I guess it all depends on who you are comparing him with, and your own particular standards.

I think he's more of a thug, still living in the past, unable to accept that the world, his world, has changed.

    Spot on Vetch.

I'm a pretty big guy (tallness and muscle wise), but it doesn't mean I go around beating the crap out of football fans. There's nothing "big" about that.

Thug is to nice a word for these people.

I have to say, I don't condone violence in any way, shape or form. I'm a lover, not a fighter and haven't been in a scrap since primary school, but I participate in the swim away at every opportunity. Why? Because you hate it so much. You're obsession for an answer why we do it just goes to show that. For me, it's two fingers to your soul crew and what they stand for

    Aber. Re.,post 107.

    "wether...just like me".

    A "wether"is a castrated ram,so now I'm confused.

You've gone from being siam's " pretty big guy",to a self confessed castrated ram.

Tell us please, which one are you?

We had a thread recently discussing this very topic. I think we were mostly in agreement that it is not the greatest Championship ever.

Why worry about whether the P.L.,or Championship, are not as good as in previous years?

They are what they are, unique every season, and should be seen, and appreciated accordingly.

The Championship is a very competitive League, but The P.L. is something else.

I mentioned it because its been posted widely that the PL is the poorest it's been in years ( a dig at us being able to compete at this level therefore must mean its crap ) Funny how theres a team in the CL final (against all the odds ).If this season has been poor then give me more of the same ,nearly forgot ,we have another season to look forward to. How the idea of that must make them lot up the road squirm

I remember seeing the posts re the poor quality of this season's P.L. The green eyed monster was the author, and,as such, the comments were not really relevant.

We actually had a good discussion about the PL quality and lots of good points were made, and there are many reasons that I said the PL isn't as good as it has been. Those are all in that thread and it's nothing at all to do with Swansea City - in fact I pointed out that you were a reason against it being a weaker league.

EDIT: In fact I would actually say it's been a poor(er) season rather than saying the PL is worse. Things are going to pick up.

Anyway this thread was about us (and therefore the Championship too I guess) and not the PL which has been done.
