We scrapped our awards dinner this year, as the owner thought that all fans should be able to watch the awards and decided to do it on the pitch after the final home game. It took twenty minutes for the players to come back out, by which time 90% of the crowd had given up and gone home(not least because while everyone was waiting, some bright spark decided to take down the goals and put up the rugby posts for the following days game). When they finally did return, the players faced the directors box in the west stand, while the fans who had remained were all in the east stand, so only got to see the backs of their heads. Bloody useless.

YWBK - the "embarrassment" bit was not aimed at you but at LUFC. But even with free tix, not sure I'd bother. I would have nothing good to say to any of the players, any of the management staff, nor any of the directors, would probably get pissed as a fart, and arrested for puking all over the place.
Not one player in the current Leeds squad deserves anything. Get them back all summer and get them ready for 2012/2013, that's what is required.
