According to the person in charge of such things, we don't have long to wait for the new kit launch. So, what do we want to see? For the home kit, I'd like something simple, along the lines of this classic: please log in to view this image And for the away I'd like to see a nice balance between blue and yellow, possibly along the lines of this season's Southampton kit with yellow in place of white and blue in place of red. I'm assuming we're keeping the black and fluorescent yellow/green monstrosity/cult hit as a 3rd kit like we've done recently.
Simon my man, spot on. If only we could retain the blue third strip from this season and consign that fluorescent black abomination to the history books.
Haha I don't know quite how I feel about it... I agree it's ugly and I was pretty disappointed because a black and yellow kit could have looked great, but I'm sort of attached to it in the same way I liked Tresor Kandol and still have my ugly as **** phone from 6 years ago.
In fact, just for fun I've just had a go at seeing what that modified Saints style away kit would look like: Me likey.
Wondered how long itd be before we started seeing all these mock ups of new kits! Id go for an all red home shirt, keep the luminous black and green kit for our away, and then have a pink 3rd kit
Away kit...what about the original Leeds blue with yellow sleeves, then white or blue shorts with blue socks/yellow top? Or the blue/yellow halves of the late 90s? I do like the all-blue or all-yellow most.
I would suggest that nobody buys any new kit, no matter how tempting it might be. We need to make a stance against Bates and his money making plans, even if it hurts the club for a few seasons.
Might treat myself to a retro classic from a dealer for next term. The Macron kits are the worst quality football shirts I have ever owned or worn. I have had 3 fall apart in the last two seasons, not including the GK top I sent back after one day. There Bollocks.
They look dross anyway with sponsors plastered all over them. Get a retro one from a non-LUFC dealer like Bucks says, they're far nicer.
Get rid of the **** on the front and it my be a football shirt my wife and two girls would approve of!
Don't, it still hurts. I took my eldest to school this morning with her red jumper, red hair band and red book bag. It's just so wrong, I've made her aware I dislike red and she's very sorry and promises to wear white, yellow and blue at least once a week.
Per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeds_United_A.F.C., original kit was blue and white vertical stripes. Leeds' home kit before changing to all white (1934–1950) was half blue and half yellow. Perhaps it is time to return to one of those as the primary away kit?
Blue and White wouldn't work as it would be too similar to our home kit to bother with. I'm thinking save that to use as a special edition 3rd kit for the 100th anniversary.
And here it is: http://www.leedsunited.com/news/201...260?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Prefer it to this season's. Not quite enough white for my liking, but generally I think it's a really good looking kit.
