What alot of peole seem to forget re west ham v hull, Hull have conceded the least amount of goals away from home in the Championship, certainly not a walk over ala Brighton me thinks. I actually think they will grind out a point and we will win and it will look comfortable in the end, similar to least season.
The most important thing is our promotion, but won't we be spitting if we win and Reading lose...a title thrown away.
Honestly, no. Since the Boro game I feel like I've been through the mill. Watching the Play offs without us in them will be just fine for me, just fine indeed.
I agree, especially as I'm away for the play-offs with a non-footballing friend who won't understand why the sight of Valleta has moved me to tears.
All I hope is that the lads are not too complacent. We have not done particularly well with the teams at the lower end. On The other hand I just hope they don't try too hard either snatching at things rather than making sure. Saints need to be methodical play their normal patient game and we will win handsomely..........The crowd have to forget their apprehension and just get behind the team. Somehow the crowd have got to take the tension out of things so that the team do not feel it. When that first Saints goal goes in you will see the side physically relax. It will be very tense until then.
I think its laughable that the tactical genius that is Sam "hoofball" Aladyce is now trying to play mindgames with Sir Nigel and the boys!
Agrred Beddy. Crowd needs to try and stay positive if we don't get that early breakthrough. That will be hard especially if West ham get an early goal. I'm sure Nigel will send them out with the right attitude though. We won't get a better chance than this. I'm confident that we will do it!
I think Big Sam has just answered what he has been asked. It's got to talk about us because our result means a lot to them. I think there is pressure on both teams though.
