Depends when the voting took place I suppose. The only reason to vote against it surely is because we are about to get a large injection of money. Or is that wishful thinking. Cortese is not irresponsible so perhaps he just doesn't want our flexibility curtailed or the devil is in the detail.

The rules sound good but what worries me is that without the Premier League imposing the same rules it is just going to widen the gap between the Championship and Premiership. And teams that are relegated from the premiership won't have to abide by the rule until their second season means a greater increase in teams going straight back up. Just my opinion, no-one can know how it will all pan out in the end.
