    "Ronaldo never cracks under pressure"

One incident that instantly comes to mind was in the champions league final against Chelsea when Ronaldo missed a penalty.

    Ronaldo is better.

About time people stopped rimming messi regardles of what he does and started appreciating the massively underrated Ronaldo ( when compared to Messi by some ****tards ) has matched and bettered everything messi does.

Ronaldo has scored in a CL final and he could make it 2 CL finals he scored in this season if Real make it.

Hes gone to a new country and laughed at i by scoring for fun, without the supply Messi has at times aswell.

At 18 he was scoring in FA Cup finals and major international tournaments. Litterally anythng messi does Ronaldo does and more.

As for goals, long range, close ranger, left, right, head, sidefoot laces, silky, scrappy, full of technique, hit and hope. Ronaldo scores any kind of goal you can imagine.

Bored of the Messi thing and the Barcelona thing now, if they are so good they are now officially the biggest, greatest, most pathetic losers in the history of football. What a bunch of bottlers.

He had scored in that game and missing a penalty isnt cracking under pressure. Not for messi not for anyone. Its a 50/50 chance. Does that mean every goal keeper who doesnt save the pk is a bottler? No.

Messi however was poor in both semi finals, he literally was Arsenal, in fact Barcelona are now to be considered, FC Arsenal of Spain.

(In the style of Forza Napoli)

I notice that best player in the world, Messi, failed to score in last nights CL semi final.

Do you think this harms his reputation as the worlds best player? after all, the worlds best player scores in semi finals.

I kind of agree with some of what you wrote. But at the end of the day both ronnie and messi havent done it for their countries. I would even go so far as to say they have been outright poor for their nations, particularly ronaldo. I think they are both great players. But you have to remember that they are simply the goals scorers (focal point) of the two best sides in the world (arguably) with the two biggest budgets in the world. They have both been able to build super teams due to the money they have. And they play vs sides in la liga whose WHOLE FOOTBALLING BUDGET couldnt pay for ronaldo for 5 months! Think about that for a second! And its the same in the CL.

These clubs have so much money because they bend over the rest of la liga and get massive tv money.

I think he tries to do too much for portugual. Like shot from 40 yards all the times. He really hasnt got that bad a team around him so it makes no sense.

I think the current Portugal side are pretty dreadful. Ronaldo looked so isolated for them at the last World Cup.

And yet while Ronaldo has played as more of a striker Messi has still scored more and assisted more this season, hmm.
What went wrong for Barca was their system is sometimes quite reliant on that clinical goalscorer just to break that last line of defence, he is currently sat nursing a broken leg. While were at it Barca have also had to cope with other extended periods of injury like Iniesta, Pedro mid season.
Barcas team is better, Reals squad is deeper. While Real have forked out millions to be able to use the likes of Kaka as substitutes, Barca make do with kids from the reserves.

Messi has also played 4 more games this season in a team that has far more possession and creates far more chances. Messi is also the only real forward at Barcelona, so the majority of chances will fall to him, whereas Real Madrid have Higuain and Benzema as well as Ronaldo up front so the chances more a bit more evenly spread between different players.

Subjective waffle is all I see. Objectively I see Messi with more goals, more assists, more attempted dribbles, more successfully completed dribbles, better passing accuracy, more decisive passes, more titles, more champions league medals despite being about 3 years younger <ok>
