Great timing to gob off about it as well. Bet he bangs a hat trick past us now! In fact, why say it at all? Is he purely out to wind the fans up or what? I would have had Beckford back in a flash myself, who wouldnt? The real issue no doubt was the wages.

Not a bright move on Bates' part. But sorting out wages must have been the problem. Pity Bates didn't mention this after we play Leicester. Its not as if Becks needs any encouragement to score against us is it?

He usually mentions that with relish when it is the 'problem'. In this instance, he says we declined Beckford so we could "move forward". Presumably by continuing to field Paynter and Forssell every other game when Becchio and McCormack needed a breather.

Exactly. also he wants us to move forward? How the hell can we do that when we are selling all our best players or letting them go for free?

Thats if he has the bollocks to turn up of course. I mean he doesn't seem to give two ****s either way. Watch out in the £4.00 program for the comparables between how much Leicester have spent against how much we have. And maybe even another dig at Levi as the LUST lads are all paying around £37.00 quid a pop for a ticket, why the **** not spend the clubs money on yet another court case?

I just cant see how we could have been offered him twice this season. Once in january maybe...when was the other? surely Everton wouldnt have offered him up?

Possibly..but very unlikely. More Bates lies most probably

And saying we dont want JB back cos we want to move forward is a ****ing disgraceful comment. Selling all our best players and replacing them with loans, has-beens or even never-has-beens is not moving forward!!!!

Don't turn up.... nearly 10,000 people have validated Bates by turning up. Its not about paying for tickets its about supporting the club.

And give Bates a reason to cut the playing budget further? Then we'll end up back in L1. Stuck between a rock and a hard place

I would rather turn up every week to watch Leeds in the Conference, than watch parasites killing the club.

We should have gone into administration in the Premiership, but instead we have had people picking the bones for 10 years, we would have been back long ago.
At this rate AFC Wimbledon will make the Premiership before Leeds.

This is the first time for a very long time I'm not going to the last game of the season and it's all because of the dictatorship we are living under. I'm gutted but no way is that bearded twat getting any of my hard earned.

I guarantee it, he was the perfect gentleman at the crisp bowl in November, came over to see us at half time, gave us a clap when he came on (we cheered him), and gave us more than a good reception at the end of the game, came right down into our corner to show his respects.

They interviewed him in the programme where he had nothing but praise to give Leeds United, saying we made his career.
