I liked Hunt and also dont think he was over rated

I also liked him a bit more after he left and had a sly dig at Bullard saying "there were certain individuals at the club that did not act professionaly and that didnt help the relagation battle" not direct quote just the general gist of what he said

Possibly. Cannot think of many though. Hunt is not good enough for the PL anymore imo but would do a fair job in the championship. With the expected exodus @ Wolverhampton this summer i would expect him to stay there.
Hunt and Hammill as Wolves wingers give them a fair base to work from.

Top respect for his open comments aimed at Bullard.

I was in the press conference and he went further than that. He said - and again I'm paraphrasing - "There's a responsibility for the better paid players to make more of a contribution and some of the very best paid players at the club have let the rest of us down with their lack of effort".

Sorry, but no. Your quotes are quoted in my post at the bottom of P1. You state his quality is frankly poor, that Is a criticism, regardless. You state he is ok, then criticise his crossing and his 'quality', sorry. So that's a very accurate description of what you've written, go and check. Whilst you're at it have a look at the definition 'Criticism'...Ta

I said he's ok, I said why fans like him, I dont know how many more times I can say that. Saying his quality is poor isnt a criticism when praising other elements. Ian Ashbee's 'quality was poor' and he's my favourite footballer in history. And I dont need to you patronising ****, if only there was someone who was a writer for a living who could shed light on the definition....

Hunt was my favourite football player ever when he played for us and still is.

Neil Redfearn must be up there somewhere as well. At one point he seemed to sign for a new club every year, just after his old one got relegated.

He was at 20 clubs in total and that doesn't include Forest, where he was a youth player, I think he might be on five relegations too.

I hated Hunt. As overrated as they come, scored on his debut then just ran around kicking lumps out of people and whinging for the rest of the season.

He's the sort of player that City fans like, but isn't good enough.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I really do struggle to understand how a player who did nothing but kick people, tried to leave in January and then blamed somebody else when his own performances weren't up to scratch has become some sort of cult hero.

He also looks like a hobbit. The ****.

Has any member of a management team been relegated more often than Iain "we only had to beat Portsmouth and Burnley" Dowie?
