Talking of Leggo, RM and the likes, I stumbled across this Pie&Bovril mega-thread.

It's mostly supporters of Scottish teams other than Rangers and Celtic but the consensus is clearly that McCoist should be punished for calling for these guys' names - they also take Leggoland apart daily and have a constant go at Rangers forums throughout.

    There at page 594<yikes>

Five or six years ago when Murray first tried to off-load Rangers, he probably had big worthwhile ideas of selling Rangers to a new
young knight in shining armoury who would invest millions in the club and bring Rangers to a new level. As the years went by Murray
became more and more desperate, and by the time 2011 came around David Murray was desperate to dell to anyone who was foolish
enough to be prepared to take on the club. Craig Whyte should have known by the price of £1 all was not as it should have been.
Remember Craig knew nothing of football and Murray duped him that the new exciting manager was sure to bring Rangers into Champions
League £20m. A sale of 3 or 4 players out of about 7/8 would bring another £20m. Craig was invited to ask the Scottish media and they all
agreed Murray was right. Murray explained about the tax case and told him verbally that he was responsible if it happened to go against him
Murray. Whyte been a bit of a con man was happy to have as little in writing as possible. Murray had escaped by the skin of his teeth, No
Champions League football- no money---- no buyer for all these wonderful footballers no money. Craig Whyte fully duped.

I was on Pie and Bovril for a while (the forum, not the diet) and I got brassed off with it, to a man everyone hates the OF. If you wanted to try and defend Celtic and/or Rangers you ended up with about 20 haters asking damn fool questions and making vast sweeping generalisations (I hate people who generalise) it was pointless trying to get anyone to see reason when it came to OF fans, as soon as you hammered one point into the ground another guy would turn up and start the whole ball of wax rolling again. The Bigot Brothers, the Old Scum et al. That's all we are to them.

The last comment is from a Hibs fan

There's also a couple of quality quotes from lower league fans and the Chris Graham blog is held up as the very thesis of paranoid insanity.

On the quoted CG76 blog which Dev posted before

    http://chrisgraham76.wordpress.com/2012/02/16/the-enemies-of-rangers-football-club/

...there are some downright sickening comments below from the prick himself trying to justify pictures of a woman who posted (woman that owns Vespbar across from the Horseshoe) on twitter that there was "free jelly and ice cream" - FF posted pictures of her and her kids with "die bitch" written under them and, in their own "special" way, drew the link from the Thatcher song to its illogical conclusion - that being that stating "Jelly and Ice Cream" is supporting republican terrorism - on top of that, this nutcase seems to treat the "when Rangers die" bit as if it's actually stating that something more important than a person is dying.

Hurry up and pull the plug on these ****s.

There really are some lowlifes out there who are taking this awfully (and seriously) personally. Some deluded souls actually believe this is an attack on the Potestant faith, well they say the believe it but I just happen to think they are just a little bit mental.

I only wish I could say they are the only fans who are interested in trivial political/quasi religious ****e. In football it is endemic.
