Not sure but we've managed to go unbeaten against them with 3 different managers now.

I personally think Bayern will go through but we'll see <ok>

    But they didn't ;)

FWIW, I definitely see where you're coming from, but Chelsea managed what so many teams have tried and failed to do - without resorting to dirty, anti-football. The tactics were spot-on, and were carried out perfectly.

To be honest, I just like seeing Barca lose. I'm sick of all the fawning and worshiping they get from the media and nearly every football fan (and especially all my mates wetting themselves over every Barca goal).

I think Chelsea were forced to play anti-football last night due to being a man down, and playing against a Barca side away from home who needed to score to progress. However, they have no such excuse for this at home where they already had an advantage and to be perfectly honest could have scored more had they been a lot more adventurous. Valdes is incredibly error prone as is Alves and Puyol, so I would have expected a side of Chelsea's quality, at home and on the good run of form they were on, to have at least tried to unsettle the back four more than they did.

I wouldn't, to be quite honest. I'd written them off as soon as they drew Barca.

I think you've missed my point. I wasn't asking your record against Real, but against Mourinho. I haven't checked the stats - I'm genuinely asking the question, not being a wind-up - but my outsiders perspective is that I suspect that Mourinho has tended to do well against Chelsea since leaving you. Of course, if you're right about Bayern, that's irrelevant. But if Real win, I think Mourinho is at least as significant as Christiano Ronaldo or anyone else in their starting line-up.

Barca were favorites of course, but this was not a David vs Goliath battle. Barcelona's defensive frailties are overlooked because of their immense attacking force. The fact is against most teams they don't need to defend, but when pressed to do so, they look very vulnerable. I would have thought with players such as Ramires, Mata, Torres, Drogba, Chelsea would have tried to expose them more, that's all.

That was my point. However, it's now completely irrelevent! Well done on calling the Bayern/Real thing right. Do you fancy your chances in the final with all the suspensions and injuries?
