What a horrible snide John terry is. Not only does he knee someone right in the Harris but comes up with a fantastic lie trying to excuse it. That finger in the biscuit tin lie you come up with John has condemned you. I wonder what counsel will make of you in your court trial.

Horrible nasty dick of a human being. If there is any god, he will never wear a england shirt again.

He's an idiot. And Chelsea's performance wasn't heroic but spineless. They will have to realise there are two halves to play in at the final. Can't defend for 180 minutes this time.

I heard he only did it because he hates Africa and therefore Unicef.

And when he trudged off the pitch Di Matteo was so cocky.

He said in his Italien Drawl 'Won't Matter'

And then Juan Mata turned round and went 'What?'

And then Di Matteo went 'I said it won't matter'

And then Juan Mata said 'Said What?'

And then Di Matteo said 'It won't matter'

And then Juan Mata went 'Why do you keep saying my name?'

And then Di Matteo went 'Don't Matter...'

And then Juan Mata said 'Don't bring my Uncle into this'

    And then Drogba fell over.

Am I the only person in the world who watched that last night, enthralled by the drama, but in despair at the result? Anti-football or what! And to think if they win it, whoever gets 4th in the Prem won't qualify next year. Much as I dislike Pardew, I'd be gutted for Newcastle if that happened. Much as Typical and I disagree on the Olympics, I have to say his views on JT are spot on! Detestable human being.

I admire Barca's football but hate how they dive every where week in week out and get away with it and get 90% of decisions their way, it may have been anti football but that is exactly what you need to do, you can't out pass/play Barca you hold out and go on the break (Mr Mouriniho's Madrid did keep out Barca at the weekend, first shot on target in the 70th minute) but you need to make it so Barca are playing a brick wall, and to be honest, if Barca had shot from the edge of the box rather then try to walk it in they might have scored the goals they needed too..... Ramieres finish though, oh my what a finish

and I thought if someone outside the top 4 won the champions league then the top 4 go in and so do the holders but they need to qualify from like the 3rd qualifying round, didn't Liverpool do that in like 2005?

It doesn't work like that now, Ted. Fourth place in the Prem will miss out to an English winner of the European Cup.

The season you mention was a right cock-up for Everton. After such a monumental season with just Marcus Bent up front, and finishing fourth, they went out in the Champions League qualifiers to Rapid Bucharest.

The problem with Chelsea is that over the two legs they didn't look to leave their own half. That's all well and good, but in the final they will have to go forward in search of a goal or two as there is no away goal rule.

And this Barca team is beatable. They aren't the same as they were last year.. the bench in particular looks very, very weak. Pedro hasn't developed as they hoped and Xavi seems to not be as expressive with Cesc playing in front of him. As for Iniesta out on the wide left? Well they need Villa back up top and Messi playing that role.

The victory wasn't as amazing as it's being perceived. I just hope Madrid or Bayern (my favourites) go on to win.

I think they went out to Villareal PEA <ok> they also had a good goal chalked off by the 'hairily challenged' Italian Ref who at the time was considered the best in the world!

You are quite right, AllHell. God only knows where I got Rapid Bucharest from?!

I seem to blame the Romanians for everything!

I think Rapid Bucharest knocked the Toffees out of the UEFA Cup (0-5 away then 1-0 win at home) which they were allowed to enter because the were knocked out of the European Cup early?

Yep, you are right again, AllHell. What a miserable run, eh?

Would Dave Moyes make a good replacement for Sir Alex? I think he would, but the lack of Euro football may go against him, sadly.

Sir Alex's replacement is Mr Mourinho, he is waiting for Sir Alex to go and play golf the rest of his life and Mourinho will walk through the door before Sir Alex has even left...

Agree. Fergie has publicly endorsed him in the past, and after Madrid it is the biggest job in club management. Too much for JM to ignore.

Whats with the Anti_Chelsea ?? i thought they defended magnificently for 2 games , ok, rode their luck a lot , but got the result. Rather Chels go thru than Barca - wouldnt you? Ok , if it was ManU i would have a different thought.

Ok, noone likes Terry - he is a bit brainless.
Also, why would you want Pardew in Europe next season ?
Also agree with the sentiments re Barca - they are the most cynical side going.#

Its all very well talking about Barca and how brillaint they are, but, FFS are they boring to watch !!!!
I saw Barca v some team last season , and how many passes do they have to put together before some ****er has a shot on goal ??!! Boring, boring, boring.

It's not ''anti Chelsea'', but the method Chelsea used. The first leg I will give them credit for, the second was a disgrace IMO. To have 9 men stood in a box for a whole half was disgusting to watch.

And Barca aren't boring. They aren't exciting in the sense of how teams like Arsenal play, but you have to appreciate their pass and moving. Also how the close down when not in possession is brilliant.

And I would rather Man Utd play the final than Chelski.
