Amid the bedlam surrounding chelsea's qualification for the CL final bolton beating aston villa seemed to have gone unnoticed. Aston Villa's next games are:
    west brom away
    spurs home
    norwich away
not easy by any means. It'll be bizzare if they do considering they were challenging for a CL spot not so long ago.

Yes they can. But what do you expect when you let MON run you into the ground with awful transfer dealings and then recruit the worst manager in football <ok>

  3. Bolton winning is good - they still need to play Spurs.

This is what you get for signing Alex McLeish as your manager.
What were they thinking when they did it.

    I wouldn't mind if they'd go down.

Would rather see Bolton stay up, after all they are not managed by Big Sam anymore.

I'd love it if they did, they've gone from a decent attacking team to a dire Birminham clone. Their football is terrible to watch since McLeish took over so bollocks to 'em, it's their own fault. I'd much rather the Bolton's and Wigan's of the league survive because at least they're entertaining to watch.

Also, kudos to Bolton for getting a bit of momentum prior to facing the Spuds!

Agreed. I am also enjoying how stoke has declined this year. I think next year might finally be the year we get rid of this club. They are awful for the premier league with their time wasting EVERY throw in. And if they go down they are a club in crisis because they seem to have paid alot for some very poor players and they must be on bigger wages than they deserve.

They very much can and I would love it, although being a Newcastle fan I want them to beat Spuds, it'll be remarkable if I end up getting both!

I think I'm speaking for most of our fans when I say that I had no beef at all with Villa until they sent us down at Villa Park, when they abused our travelling fans probably as bad as even the Mackems would, calling us scum and going to the trouble of bringing banners etc.

I'm actually seeing a LOT of parallels with our relegation season in them - getting dragged into the thick of it late on, terrible team morale, loads of people refusing to believe it will happen because they've been in the league for so long. Wake up and smell the coffee, it can happen and very possibly will the way they're playing.
