Aw, I was hoping to see Leggo's insights to the SFA fine and transfer embargo.

SFA ACCUSED OF LENNON VERDICT STITCH UP
SCOTTISH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION lawyer, Vincent Lunny and Neil Lennon’s Queen’s Counsel, Derek Hogg have been accused of coming to a private agreement over the charges the Celtic manager faced for being red carded at Ibrox.

And the amazing allegations being aimed at a senior and highly respected member of the Bar, Hogg QC and the SFA’s lawyer Lunny, is that they cut a deal over the Lennon charges.

That these two extremely senior (extremely senior? Wtf does that mean?) legal figures, did not allow the evidence of the offences Lennon was charged with committing during the last Old Firm game, to be put before the SFA’s Judicial Panel.

If these outrageous claims (you said it) can be proven to be true, then any such alleged stitch up entered into by lawyer Lunny may be seen by some to have been done by him in order to get Lennon a lighter sentence. (by you, you mean you slabbering oaf)

As it was, there was an astonishing precedent created when the SFA Judicial Panel ruled that being sent from the technical area – the managerial and coaching equivalent of a red card, - warranted NO punishment. (no Leggo, they said being sent from the dugout WAS his punishment)

That not being able to take part in the second half of the match was punishment enough for Neil Lennon.(now you are contradicting yourself, you said there was NO punishment)

And according to what is claimed,(whit?) the Judicial Panel were NOT allowed hear from the witnesses, referee Calum Murray, the two linesmen, plus fourth official, Iain Brines, who is a senior police officer and well used to giving evidence under oath.(and used to pushing his finger into peoples' chests)

If true,(well we only have your word that it is) it throws into confusion the whole raft of new disciplinary procedures put in place by the SFA of Stewart Regan and his pal and fellow Hampden boardroom member, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell, on the advice of Celtic and Lennon’s former QC, the late Paul McBride.

So who is making these allegations? Who is it who appears to have questioned the integrity of the Scottish Football Association’s Compliance Officer, Vincent Lunny.

Who is it who appears to be defaming the late Paul McBride QC’s close friend and colleague, a man who has spent the last few weeks at the centre of a major murder trial, Derek Hogg QC?

Who is it who is claiming the whole thing has been a major result for Neil Lennon?

Step forward our old friend….

MATT McGLONE!

Yesterday, when I mentioned McGlone’s name in connection with Alex Thomson, the prancing poltroon of a poseur (pathetic name calling again) from Channel Four News, I promised there would be more on him.

SOON!

Well here it is.

And it proves just how well connected Matt McGlone, publisher of the Celtic fanzine, the Alternative View – headquarters Mail Box 491, 355, Byres Rd, Glasgow, G12, 8QZ – actually is.(PLEASE SEND BOMBS TO THIS ADDRESS)

The question though is, where is he so well connected to be able to claim he knows what went on at Neil Lennon’s hearing before the Scottish Football Association’s anonymous three-man Judicial Panel?

Is he well connected inside Parkhead?

Or is Matt McGlone well connected inside Hampden? Inside the Scottish Football Association of Stewart Regan and his boardroom pal, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell?

McGlone certainly responded quickly to any inside info he was leaked about what went on when Neil Lennon faced the SFA court. In fact, McGlone, who took to Twitter to relay what he claimed was his exclusive news, was even moved to boast how he had bested all other media outlets in terms of speed and detail.

And it was the detail which was astonishing.

To start with Matt McGlone Tweeted :”The verdict was a major result for Neil. No sentence on the Ibrox tunnel incident, a petty two game ban handed down for Cup Final comments.”

Minutes later McGlone Tweeted again, this time claiming: “Vincent Lunny, the SFA man, took Lenny’s QC Derek Hogg outside of the body’s hearing to sort it out, such was the mess about to break for the SFA.”

A few minutes later and McGlone could contain himself no longer, Tweeting: “Vincent Lunny avoided a major embarrassment for the SFA, coming to a deal with Derek Hogg, avoiding a bigger crisis. A major result for Neil.”

Whether or not the Scottish Football Association lawyer, Vincent Lunny believes he has been defamed by Matt McGlone is a matter he is better qualified to judge than I. And Derek Hogg QC is possibly even more able to form a view on that matter.

As for referee, Calum Murray? As for his two linesmen? As for the fourth official, Iain Brines, himself a police officer?

If the allegations Matt McGlone has made are true then the officials are left believing the man who is meant to prosecute the offender – in this case Neil Lennon – on their behalf, SFA lawyer Lunny, has no faith in their evidence.

If that is the case then the whole system is on the brink of collapse with many people (no, just you and idiots who actually believe your ****e) perhaps taking the view lawyer Lunny, acting on behalf of his paymaster, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell, who is also an SFA Director who sits in the Hampden boardroom with his good chum, SFA chief executive, Stewart Regan, is compromised if Matt McGlone’s allegations have any foundation in fact.

Of course, if what McGlone alleges is mere Tommy Rot, then no doubt lawyer Lunny and Hogg QC will seek to defend their professional integrity and reputation by demanding he prove it. (yeah i'm sure they will)

........
AND.......

Tomorrow.......

How Stewart Regan and his Scottish Football Association have KILLED Scottish football.

=======================================================================

More cack and drivel, conspiracy theories and tittle tattle, name calling and spurious accusations as well as a bit of missing the point completely. If Lunny dropped the cahrges against lennon and Ogg agreed then obviously the officials were telling porkies about Lenny, and let's face it, this would not have been a first

Quite lengthy and hilarious, today.

<laugh>

Brilliant - think of the Rangers team in two years time (if there is one) - there won't be any players good enough for Scotland <laugh>

I'm gonna say that again and wish my past self from the Advocaat era could read it.

There won't be any Rangers players good enough for SCOTLAND <laugh>

Roon yeez.

The Tesco initiative with the SFA concentrates on young people getting training days and stuff like that with youth development - they run the Tesco Bank Football Challenge for kids.

That's what Elbows was attending - Darren Fletcher is a bit of a semi-official patron and most of the photoshoot stuff is done at Hampden.

If Tesco go bust, it'll be the fault of the strong pro-Asda cabal inside Rangers and nothing to do with present financial results <whistle>

The only initiatives run in certain parts of the country with SFA registered coaches for kids are the Tesco Bank ones. Thankfully, it will continue fine without the odd picture of Steven Whittaker holding a baw <laugh>

If only the SFA were sponsored by Ginsters, Buckfast & Prozac. Then these protests might have some impact. <whistle>

Chances are Rangers punishment will be reduced on appeal. So be it. The 12 month ban quite possibly IS a step too far (for the specific charges in question, I hasten to add - this isn't about EBTs / double contracts etc yet).

But any iota of sympathy I have evaporates when I read the reaction of some sections of the Rangers support. The outraged arrogance is entirely nauseating.

"It MUST be stressed that a CVA and a move out of administration remains the aim of Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights. They are good corporate citizens who want to face up to the club’s fiscal responsibilities, even though the debt is not theirs."

Paul Murray a good corporate citizen........
