Seems like we havent moved very far forwards after all! http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...ed-fury-at-facebook-page-mocking-munich-crash
Kissa, tell em about your 'mate' Gary Scholes (I think) that you tracked down on Twitter and offered out. Twitter gold mate
Bucks He was called Liam Scholes, Sent taxis, kebabs, currys, prozzies and male strippers all round to his house Also sent a shuttle bus for heathrow airport haha
Good work sir. That Moron deserved everything he got, and to be fair the mancs probably think the same about whoever started that facebook page. It was refreshing to see the Mancs back us and have a go at Liam as well. Somethings (not many mind) are bigger than football
Bucks Exactly, the man u fans where giving him just as much as the Leeds fans, I mean he was on a facebook group where he was stood behind a Turkey flag doing the nazi salute, what a prick
Spot on Bucks. As the recent incident with Muamba has shown & the pile of flowers now appearing near Buck. Pal for the girl who died in the marathon, there really are somethings bigger & more important than sport. Le's hope whoever started the page on FB gets what they rightly deserve.
There's more than one way to skin a cat, or at least, there's more than one way to get justice & ensure people get what they deserve. Seems as though you demonstrated this with some other prat. Let's hope someone does the same for those that created the FB page at the top of this exchange.
Very very sad. Bet these morons complained the loudest at the Millwall Turkish flags!! Banter is good, but this is just plain thick. Once again our club and its wonderful supporters get the finger pointed at it. Grrrrrrrr
I can't stress enough how disgusted I am that you can be arrested for laughing at a joke, no matter how sick. But people who publicly say stuff like this on social networks have it coming to them. There's a prudeishness which is still rife among the media, and it's very foolish to speak your mind in an age of social mobs forming on the internet. This sort of thing is increasingly confined to the real world, and it's the people who make these groups and say these things that will be the ones to find out. Sad, but that's the reality. Unless I'm mistaken, it turned out not to be his house. It was someone else in Manchester with the same name. Quite embarrassing really. Of course it's Leeds fans. No other club sings "I like to Munich Munich," it's a Leeds invention that started at the cup game last year. Might be the odd scouser or Man City fan that likes it, but I think it says a lot that 1,200 people on Facebook are prepared to anonymously like the page. Munich jibes aren't going away any time soon. BillysStatue, I doubt Munich chanters make a fuss about Turkey jokes. People always say that, but in my experience that's nonsense. I'd also like to hear why needlessly costing small businesses large amounts of money, offering someone out and chucking people in prison or using state repression for free speech is a better alternative than someone making a football-related joke. I hate this Manc **** who made it since I'm Leeds, as I'm sure Mancs hate anyone making fun of their misfortunes, and a bit of a witch-hunt telling the offenders' friends/family they're a **** etc. is fair play, but I think once again things have been blown out of proportion.
Iqbal Your stance on this matter has been excercise a few times already on here we get it you like to sing songs like that. I offered the lad out in a fight which I thought was a fair enough way of solving the matter, I just laughed at everyone else sending taxis and **** round to his house. convenient how all the facts where correct about the lad 1 minute the next every single one of them was wrong, He said it wasnt his address but in reality it was his address, and his phone number and his workplace.
I'm hardly making a point about singing anything, am I? I'm trying to say there's way too much of a frenzy by the baying mob of righteous people as soon as anything like this comes out. It obviously was his number and workplace, but the address was someone seven years older than him on the other side of Manchester.
haha that well confused me then I wondered who the fook that was that replied you n ur name changes lol Im not arsed to be honest about that dweeb anymore it will have affected his life more than anyone elses by making such stupid comments.
