Notice this ref we got done the blackburn liverpool gamewhere he bottled sending off liverpools second keeper
Just noticed this http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/AcademyNews/0,,10280~2744251,00.html another win for the kids, just how important are some of them going to be in the future.
Er ... please don't tell me that. Red wine = need Brie; Brie = need red wine ... Always before bedtime.
I suggest some people read the rules of the game. The ball was going away from Yakubu and the goal and to a defender therefore not a clear goalscoring opportunity and therefore only a yellow card.
God I'd love Hammond to score another belter to close the season. He'd probably explode with passion.
This game is going to be so tense that we'll barely have time to enjoy it. Anybody leaving early if we get promoted has mental issues.
Anyone without a latex allergy should by a bag of these. 3 quid, to help turn St Mary's Fortress into what is frequently referred to as a sea of Red and White. Got myself two bags. It'll give me something to do during the first few nervous minutes of match time. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-RED-AN...Celebrations_Occasions_ET&hash=item35bb421fb1
Actually those that are in a hurry should just leave after the final whistle. Nobody else will be out for another half-hour at least!
Last year it seemed like most of the people stayed (on the field or in the stands) well after the game was finished. Hopefully this is the last promotion we will experience. A moment to enjoy if it comes to pass.
Just realised that it's going to be a bloody long wait for the end of August. Spanish MotoGP is on Sunday. Hope I'm bouncing around, in a good mood for that, after you know what. Olympics follow in the early summer. That condemns us to rain throughout, no doubt [I read like Gomarchin']. They're always a bit of fun though, and tbh, they were even a bit exciting last time out, as GB went bananas on the Gold medal front, provoking some Australian official to announce that we're good at sports where we sit down [sailing, rowing, cycling, etc...], which I thought was a cheap, and in my experience, typically Aussie sort of humourously barbed jibe [I was married to a Kiwi and there's no love lost between Kiwis and Aussies, and she knew one of them would react that way]. MotoGPs will sustain me though, thank goodness. If I find I'm bored enough to turn to F1, I'll jump on my bike and go out for a blast, even if it's tipping it down. That reminds me, I've got to fit a bit of a tour in there somewhere. Quite busy with work though. Actually, you know what..? It might all whizz by..!
But Fran, don't you remember? Weren't you there? You know, when the guy with the Mic said, "Right, we have taken that half of the panorama. Please now move slowly and carefully across the pitch towards the Chapel stand, taking care to leave an overlap on the half-way line, and get ready for me to say cheese"
Ant Taylor was probably Man of the Match in that game. Would have been more fun if he'd sent Jones off though...
Possibly bandied around on this thread or another, but very hard to check via your phone. Some dispute if it was 27th or 28th April 1984: Southampton 8 - Coventry 2
