Sorry, i'll give them a modicum of credit. However, they adopted nothing but totally negative tactics in both games. By a combination of siege mentality defending, and some great fortune, they have won. I repeat once more, however. Bloody sad night for football.

You bitter old tit, I hope the Chelsea fans wreck your town <laugh>

When will you bitter Spuds understand that is the only way to play Barcelona?

10 men, 2-0 down AT the Nou Camp. We schooled the world last night :)

Really? Well if that's the only way you can do it, you'll have no trouble understanding why everybody apart from you wanted Barca to win. Again, victory for you Chavs, massive defeat for those of us who like to watch decent football!

Well more people have congratulated us than slated us so you're wrong there. Only our rivals didn't want us through.

Decent football? It was one of the most dramatic nights in European history ffs <laugh>

I remember Spurs brushing the holders aside over 2 legs, whilst being 4-0 down and 10 men for over an hour at one point....I don't recall too many plaudits for that, I do recall criticism of our opponents, so pardon me for not being over enthusiastic about Chelsea beating a well out of sorts team from Spain, with missing players, who aren't even top of their league.

Perhaps the kit you wore was a good omen to help you through. :)

Not expecting plaudits notso, just not criticism!

Why?, we all see what we want to see at times, a voice of reason is necessary sometimes....you should know, you've plonked yours here enough! I wasn't impressed at all Drogs, not one bit. Was I the only one who thought everytime you went forward they shat themselves, they are total crap at the back and could have had a new ripped for themselves if only their opponents had tried. Its well documented in Spain something is missing from Barca.

Sorry, Drogs mate. You're a reasonable bloke - unlike your mate. How did that twat ever get to be a Mod, by the way. I just don't like to see those sort of tactics - from anybody. It does nothing for football, a lot of neutals will have swiched their TV's off last night, before they slipped into a coma. All the locals here will be delighted. They hate Barca. Me, i would normally support the English team in a game like that ( might have to draw the line at The Goons!) but i really don't like watching those sort of tactics. Unfortunately, it will only encourage others to try the same thing. Not exactly progress for "the beautiful" game, is it?

Btw, your Captain is a lying, cheating, dickhead, (not to mention racist! :D). I laughed my bollocks off when the commentry said that he was denying he'd do such a thing, that his attempt to give Sanchez a dead leg in the hamstring was accidental! Trotting out a pile of BS....having not yet seen the replay!

Oh, he just stopped.....err, and I bought my knee up....err, and he ran into it...blah, blah, blah! <laugh>

Do you have trouble reading? If so, I don't want to take the piss, it's not fair. But if not, can you not see that most of the people here are congratulating your team on an excellent performance, and wishing our team could show the same determination. Aim your criticism at people who are slagging your team, a minority on here.

I was aiming it at those people HD<ok>

Actually, it isn't - just like parking the bus and kicking their players off the pitch isn't the only way to beat Man Utd or Arsenal.

Quite naive that don't you think? Barcelona are on another level if passing to those two, as proved when they mutilated both last season <ok>

It's the only way to beat Barca. fact<ok>

Is it Drogs, until someone has a go at them, we won't know for a fact. Do you not agree Barca are a different proposition this year. Comparing to last year is silly, first and foremost you played a different side, Cuenca and Sanchez are no David Villa for a start no?

Nonsense. Sanchez is another 40 million odd pound player. Hardly a light weight replacement.

Until this week when Real and us have put them to the sword, everyone has been have a merry **** over Barca and their 'fantastic' football. They've again scored a bucket load and whilst they wont win the league this year, it's only cos of their poor start. They came into our tie on a great run of form.

Teams in spain have a 'go' at them all the time, and get battered more often than not. If and when Spurs play them, we can then see if Spurs will have a go. I doubt it though given the performances against Madrid last year.

Yeah, i'd go with most of that. I'd say maybe a year or so ago if you took them on at their own game, you would get hammered. Well, you'd probably get hammered whatever tactics you adopted - they were that good. I'm not so sure now, though. Their defence is ****e, they've definitely lost something. Obviously, Villa is a huge blow for them, but i think there's something else missing. Or maybe others have just sussed out how to deal with them better.

Arsenal beat them last season without parking the bus or kicking them into the stands. Fact.

Add to that some of your fans are adopting the logic of the criminal to defend your tactical approach - "He's a diver so it's alright to kick them off the pitch"/"He looked at me funny so it's alright to kick his head in" - says a lot.

United and Arsenal both tried an miserably failed <ok>

We're going to have to agree to disagree here <ok>
