A little damp this morning in Coxhoe and Osca does not like the rain so it was a shorter walk today, I know that you needed to know that, your day will be all the brighter because of it.

Thank god it’s nearly back to normality with a weekend of football and the start of an important end of season for the boys in red & white. Get it right and the platform will be there for a good summer in the transfer market and the chance to really challenge for Euorope next season.
Get it wrong and, well let’s not go there but you all know what I’m not saying!
But hey, we are Sunderland so we will do neither, we will get it sort of right but not wrong, we will outplay, outclass and out do City then be out played, out classed and out done by WBA, or am I being unfair?
I can see us ending the season in 8th or 9th place and most of us saying how we would have been happy with 10th but now feel deflated with 8th. Telling the world how we may not re-new our season tickets even though we already have. Saying how we are glad its all over then getting excited about the never ending transfer rumours, wonder if N’zogbia is mentioned?
Then the fixture list will be out for next season, travel plans for those pre-season games will be discussed, cant wait to see ????????? our new 20 mil striker in action, hope Mensah is fit soon, no idea why Richardson is still here, Anton could still go, I will miss the what’s Murphy playing at this year.
Then big kick off and we will do it all again, dont you just love being a footy fan?

A damp morning in the NE of England............I remember almost all mornings being cold and damp.

Anyway, what about the five year plan mate....... things are going to change mate.....no more of those long silences in the transfer window..... proud to be able to admit you've got your season ticket (not that I've had one for a number of years, for obvious reasons..........aiming for 10th achieving 8th...... aiming for 7th achieving 5th......... two 20 mil signings........... then you remember we are sunlan………. aaarrrrrrrrrr

a bit dryer in the mornings but the same trials and tribulations of being a SAFC fan………… sometimes you get a bit sick of the roller coaster but you would never try to get off.

Sargent bilko……… those were the darkest days for me…………only thing that kept me going was knowing that the club was bigger than him and that at some point we’d get shot of him and be able to start again………….

Can remember sitting in the north stand after a few games….. head in hands…. Tears in my eyes singing quietly to myself…………. Wise men say only fools rush in……….. but I can’t help falling in love with …………..

    Don’t go telling anyone mind
