What do you guys want if you can choose between Sterling and Euro?

Great B (+Ireland) and Sweden are the two last nations in the EU who hasnt got Euro. Poland will probably surrender soon, so I wont count them in :emoticon-0114-dull:

It would feel kinda sad if the SEK disappeared :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Current situation for those who want the Euro (voting)
    Red/Orange = 0-30 %
    Yellow: 30-50 %

    Sterling.

The Euro might make it easier for exchange rates etc but the British will always be British. We need our own currency ;)
Especially the Scots. They treat the the Scottish pound as if it's their own currency.#

Anyway, I'm anticipating the crash of the Euro in the next 12 months so it that case it wouldn't be worth changing.

There's no chance of us joining the Euro zone, it's knackered and we didn't want to join it before it was knacked.

euro is stupidity. one size doesnt fit all and cant fit all. and it has recently been demonstrated with sparkling clarity in greece ireland portugal with more yet to fall. nobody with as muich as half a brain could serioulsy consider joining it to be worthwhile. economic idiocy economic suicide. always was always will be.

There's a few more of them than that Febbos; Czech Republic and Hungary for a start.

Any country that gives up its right to print its own currency can look at Greece, Portugal or Ireland as what happens when another country's economic policy shapes your country.

It is a pretty nice map Febbos.

In answer to your question, I like good old Pounds Sterling.
