    Why?

Good football comes first (ask Diver Drogba).

BCC will have a field day with this post! <laugh>

Barca play some great football, but they are no better than Chelsea for fair play, no chance. Busquets is one of the worst players around for diving at the moment. Drogba is a cheat, but I don't think you can blame all of Chelsea for that, the rest of them are fine.

normally would be, but ive got 3 different accumalators involving a barcelona champ league win and a potential 500 quid winnings goes up in smoke if they go out...i think it will be 2-0 to barca and they will sneak through with a few squeaky bum moments near the end..

IMO, IF Chelsea score first then i can see Chelsea winning. Otherwise its going to be a very long night for the blues.

It's their to signify the definite article rather than some general one. If they'd have been more imaginative it wouldn't have been needed, but like Wembley v the New Wembley clarification's needed to differentiate. In your example 'Anfield' wouldn't normally get the definite article as it's clear which Anfield is meant in the context.

It doesn't need to be. "Liverpool are playing at Anfield" works in English. "Liverpool are playing at New Camp" only works without the "the" if you're trying to speak in a comedy northern accent.

It could possibly work without the "the" if you were speaking Spanish, but that would make you a rubbish pundit for an English speaking audience.

What an idiotic thing to do, reminds me of Beckham in the World Cup v Argentina years ago. Game over for Chelsea I think.

That was never a sending off, it was a stupid thing to do, but that **** Alexis did a somersault to get him sent off.

Best team in the world my arse, just a bunch of diving girls.
