A lot of people have had their say on the upcoming Coventry game. Some are letting their nerves get the better of them, and there is talk of Saints blowing it. Most people though have voiced their confidence that Coventry are a rather rubbish side who are in no position to be upsetting any apple carts. Those who speak out against the team, point fingers at players and fear the worst have been shouted down for being too pessimistic. Those who believe Saints are a shoo-in and shout overused "Adkinisms" and clichés at you to the point of making you want to stab yourself in the eyes with a fork, are shouted down for being too optimistic. We're all fed up of the whiners, the people who whine about the whiners and the people who whine about the people who whine about the whiners. But if there is one thing that you regular Not606 readers out there should know, it's that I, Joe, am always right. Every time. Occasionally a dissenting rebel will rise up and challenge this notion, and I will put him in his place. As the single voice of infinite wisdom and knowledge among this flock of doubters, naysayers and Nervous Nellies, I bring to you good news... Saints will win 6-0.
6-0 may be a tad ambitious . If we score in the first 10 minutes we will open the gates and go on to win 4-1. And im always right too so screw you!
Actually, I don't think that you are always right. I just happen to agree with you on this one. 6-0 it is then.
Other than those times you are wrong, you are invariably right Joe. This is one of the times you are right. Or not.
Saying "West Ham will batter Hull" can not be based on a rational analysis of the game. The only way that a person can come to a conclusion like that is through mindless pessimism. There is no rational-minded person who would look at that game and see it as an easy win for either side. _____________________________________________ So 6-0 surely is mindless optimism? Can't have it both ways! Although I'm a bit shocked about your prediction, I do think we will win, but still, I'd never predict such a conclusive walk-over of a result in such an important game, it truly unsettles me!
I hope your right.................in fact if your are right it should mean we finish the season with the top two goal scorers! Has that happened before?
I think the thing that you all have to let go, is the notion that Joe stating the scoreline will have any effect on the match. Which as he says will end in a 6-0 victory to Saints.
It is a preposterous notion that my words could affect the game. Is it not far more likely that I simply know what the result will be and am now relaying that information onto you? Occam's razor, my friends. The simplest explanation is probably the right one.
6-0 will be a huge disappointment, and quite frankly anything less than 31-0 should be a catalyst for us to get rid of Adkins and Cortese and start afresh for next season with our new strike-force of Lionel Messi, Ferenc Puskas and Barry Sheene. Fact.
Funny that, cause I've been sat at SMS a few times when someones said; 'That goals killed them off, we'll win easy now.' Then we've conceeded. So, in the scheme of things Joe's comments mean very little, but in tempting fate.......he'll look a bloody big plonker if we don't win & you can be damn sure some WUM will dig this little piece of gold up. So pipe down. There, you asked for that.
Evening all We'll see what the score will be but one thing you can say for sure is that an early goal will certainly calm any nerves and is just what you need Were going to drive a car with a big **** off loudspeaker on top around westhamabad and announce every goal you score
I really hope that you are really going to do that, it's genius. Hopefully we'll make sure you have plenty to do.
We scored after 46 seconds against Middlesbrough and it didn't help at all But please to God I hope you announce every goal
You've lost it! Saying you know for a fact what will happen on Saturday raises far more questions than answers. Occam's razor indeed.
