I've got to say that I agree with Jayram on this one. The debate on good/bad isn't really the point, it is more a factor of who fits in our team. I also agree with the list of players, even though I don't like Parker and think he would be a downgrade from Song and (I know I will get flak for this) Ramsey,Wilshere, Diaby, Arteta, but he would at least be able to play in our team (as would VDV and BAE).

VDV is a petulant pikie prima donna that we can do without in our dressing room. Parker can play, but he is a dirty, snide of a player that again I would hate to see in the red and white. Moderate would bring nothing extra to our team. Walker would need a complete overhaul, but I believe given 2 years with us, we could make something out of him.

Got to disagree with you on this one. I've followed Walker since he was a youngster at Sheffield United and he's a good player. He'll become a very good player with the right instruction and experience. Watch out for him as England's future RB - competing against one Carl Jenkinson possibly!! He has a lot of very good qualities.

I think peoples dislike towards Spurs is creating irrational comments from Arsenal fans. The truth is, I would gladly take Modric, Walker, Bale, VDV and Ade any day of the week. They are definately at least on par with most of our first 11. I think we need to be realistic and realise our team isn't all that great. Good but not great. We flatter to decieve on most occasions, thats why we've not won anything for 7 years...

Walker is a quality player as is Parker, Bale, VDV and Modric. Ade on his day is top class too.

You don't want Sagna teaching anyone how to cross! And that's from someone who really rates him (just not his crossing ability).

Oh Adebarndoor. What a silly boy he is. All the ingredients to be a superb player, just a shame he's a massive tw*t. I told my Spud boss who was raving about him to not get too excited. He'll start every season like the world beater he could be before once again reverting to the sulky bellend he actually is.

Spuds have plenty of decent players. However, they seem to share the current Arsenal trend of being massive choke-meisters.

modric is vastly overrated and has failed to produce or even become visible in the big games. he only plays well when the rest of the team plays well. bale could be good if he stayed on the left and crossed the ball, as that is his best trait. everything else in his game lacks a bit. van der vaart was only good when playing alongside crouch as he got into the right places.

i would take walker over jenkinson atm as back up to sagna, modric over ramsey, but thats about it from the spurs team. bale wouldnt fit into our system as we don't need a crosser.

I thoroughly enjoy reading the threads here, and on the Spurs and Chelsea pages too, truth be told as a neutral you all have great players, and you can all be accused of some bias towards you own club, but thats what makes us fans. Personally I think player for player Arsenal and Spurs are relatively closely matched, but would venture that if Spurs had been coached by Wenger and Arsenal by Redknapp then there league positions may well be reversed, and as an England fan too I am sorry Spurs but I really dont want Harry anywhere near the national team.

Ha, I'd venture that if old 'arry was in charge of our budget then we'd have 25 different players right now of which 20 would be total pap!

I have seen a couple beauties from him this season so thought he was pretty good at them. The way our full backs go forward they need to have a good delivery.

Sagna probably best right back in the league regardless then Richards.

    Great post ashfordhill <applause>
