Plays left wing for the Blackcats - cost £300k from Derry - now worth several million pounds and is the target of several Premier clubs but knows where his future lies and has signed a three year extension to his contract -THE REAL MCLEAN !!!!!

<party>

Yes we mean the duffer from the Posh who can't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Presumably you're talking about James McClean. Don't worry, easy mistake to make.

So you've started a thread to tell us that there's another player with the same name as McClean....er...thanks.

Except it isn't the same name because he got the name of his own team's* player wrong.

*Having said that, he only posts on the Sunderland board once in a blue moon and for some reason has a fascination with our board, so I'm not convinced he's really a Sunderland fan.

Sorry, the spelling was a typo error !

Anyway, what are you doing looking at the Blackcats board, you will be getting ideas way above your station !

A supporter of 50years standing I'll have you know, I just like to visit the cloud cuckoo land of the Tigers board now and again to read the delusional comments posted now and again.

I haven't been near the Sunderland board, I just suspected someone with 105 posts on the site, all of which seem to be on this board, probably doesn't post on his own team's board a great deal so I clicked on your name and sure enough everything you've posted this year is bollocks on our board.

If you wanted delusion you'd pop onto the Leeds board, so it still doesn't add up.

When it comes to wumming, you're in a class of your own.

The remedial class.

Actually, looking at that other thread, it doesn't seem that many of our fans can get Mclean's name right either.

It's Mclean, not McLean, not Maclean and not MacClean.

Shall we just call him Aaron?

while we're discussing delusional, here's something for you to consider:

sunderland silverware

First Division champs (6) 1891–92, 1892–93, 1894–95, 1901–02, 1912–13, 1935–36
Runners-up (5) 1893–94, 1897–98, 1900–01, 1922–23, 1934–35

FA Cup winners (2) 1937, 1973
Runners-up (2): 1913, 1992

so sunderland joined the league in 1890 and within 50 years had won the league 6 times and the cup once. then you jumped on the bandwagon and jinxed them! in the last 50 years they've won a cup final and lost a cup final.

on top of that what could be more delusional than a town having a name ending in -land? england, scotland, ireland, iceland, poland, holland, switzerland, sunderland. delusions of grandeur!
