Or maybe Sky are promoting West Ham to win to boost viewing figures so that the season goes to the wire?? Just a thought like!!!

I think I've seen on here they have been known to call us Hull FC in the past.

They normally refer to us simply as Hull, occasionally Hull FC.

What the heck do you expect from Sky ? Big Fat Sam Lardarse is the perfection of what happens when you dont eat a salad or 2.

Best thing for Nick Barmby to do is play that footage Over and Over and Over on the way down and Just before the game in the dressing room.

I for one hope news comes through from Southampton that they are winning well. Just watch the whole place implode. Unlike Sams waistline... Better watch your blood pressure Sam. Dont want another heart attack do we OR do we now ? lol.

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admits he will probably have to send his team out against Hull on Saturday with the instruction of trying to score four goals.

The Hammers need to win and hope Southampton lose to clinch promotion, but if the Saints draw, Allardyce's team need to boost their goal difference to go up.

He said: "I'm fearing I'll have to tell the players to go out and win 3-0 or 4-0 and hope Southampton slip up. We might need that margin because we'd be absolutely gutted if Southampton end up drawing, we don't score enough goals and end up staying in the play-offs on goal difference."

I really hope we drive them into the ground on Saturday...what an arrogant tool

Will do our best. Ive hated the Hammers since the Tevez fiasco. How i hope that they bomb out of the play-offs and into administration or even better Liquidation. A few thousand Sheffield Utd fans would love that too.

Would love an opening day fixture next season of Sheffield Utd v. West Ham Utd. Tickets pleeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dont worry Saints, Enjoy the game and confirming 2nd place. You deserve it. BELEAVE IT WILL HAPPEN - SHOW NO FEAR.!!

I agree with ^^^^ this. Dont want to go to Birmingham next season its so depressing. Plus Bo Myhill would get another winners medal @ Wembley.

Possibly true. I bet the armchair tv audience will be tuned into BBC's game as IF Southampton win the West Ham game is meaningless anyway. Only IF a massive shock is occuring @ St.Marys would attention turn to the Hammers. I dont see that happening.

I also wonder, IF Southampton are taking care of business IF Sky will switch to the Crystal Palace v. Cardiff game as the battle for 6th spot is still on ?

Indeed he is. Stick this quote up in the dressing room Nick. Better still WIN the game. Hope Sam chokes on his gum.

I think our fans are being too soppy.

We'd be saying the same if we were in their situation.

Not everyone is against Hull/ Hull City ffs.

I don't care who goes up. Just think Birmingham will win in the playoffs, whoever they play.

The only time any TV company gave Hull City their due and praise was when our viewing was courtesy of Anglia TV. It was dreadful when Yorkshire TV took over and we were lumped with the likes of Leeds, (Bremner Giles etc), Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Huddersfield etc bet you can guess who got all the adulation then.

The TV pundits, yeah, **** them. But Big Sam's comments, are exactly what Id expect from a decent manager. Im with Golaccio, why are some of you being all sensitive about him? Do you think he should say *look, we need to win 4-0, but you're all crap, and Hull City have an awesome defence, so, theres no point in even trying, lets just hope we win by accident and Soton lose to the worst team in the league*.

How is it arrogant? His normal instructions are probably if they get a 2 goal margin to take less risks to make sure they don't throw it away, but that's probably not going to be good enough for them. He's hardly going to come out and say there's no way they can beat us by that much so everyone had better just hope Coventry win is he. Plus he says he fears having to send them out that way. He wouldn't be fearing it if he didn't know that to have a chance of doing it he'd have to send them out gungho, where as normally he'd be looking at our threats to them as well.

nothing wrong with what Allardyce said.. but I don't expect our team to roll over and have its belly tickled though.. and Barmby won't allow it.
