I'm not being funny skin, but unless you've lived through and witnessed Rangers for the past 20 odd years, it's very difficult to grasp just how arrogant and detached from reality a lot of the fans are. These are the people who sing "We Are The People' without a hint of irony. Such is their mindset, they cannot comprehend what is happening to their club. Things like this simply aren't meant to happen to a club like Rangers. Therefore, they lash out and blame anyone but themselves: the SFA, SPL, Peter Lawwell, Neil Lennon, Stuart Regan, Neil Doncaster, Alex Thomson, the BBC, the Scottish mhedia in general, ex-board members, Celtic fans etc. They have cheated and lied their way for as long as I can remember but now that the past has caught up with them they're still lashing out at people who have done nothing to harm them. Even when staring into the abyss they have learned nothing about dignity and humility. They remain the People, even though it's now nothing more than a tarnished embellishment.
"Rangers supporters are appalled by this decision which brings shame on the SFA and the national game." Said without a hint of irony
"It is completely unacceptable and fans groups will be meeting to explore how we jointly express our opposition to this decision in the strongest possible terms" Oh no, i'm worried now, "The strongest possible terms".
I know a trader in William Hills and apparently they are being flooded with sectarian hate filled emails. He was kind enough to forward this one to me. please log in to view this image
They genuinely expected to get a slap on the wrist and told not to be bad again then the status quo would be resumed.
Wiseman dairy response is good Along the lines of "our sponsorship ends this season" and "the SFA back kids playing football, don't you think that's a good thing"
I've just had a read of their letters to McDonald's and that The best is the Wiseman response: ...and they're all giving it "cheeky bastard" Boycotting McDonald's ****ing idiots.
Scum Every country bar ours would be helping a club in the position we find ourselves But no , they are chopping off our hands and legs I'm disgusted, angry and physically shaking with rage I'm more angry that some fans won't waken up and fight our corner A boycott of all away games is a must Any supporter who attends an away game next yr is no rangers supporter in my eyes You can go **** yourself http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=217850
