Here's a fact fact. What happened five years ago won't affect Saturday. So forget about it. If you told Nigel about some TV curse, he'd laugh at you.
You are right Qwerty of course. But that is an incredibly bad statistic. Mind you stats can lie. I suspect quite a few of those were in our championship relegation season when we didn't win many that weren't on Sky either!
This season we have had 10 games televised and won only 2 and drawn 4 and lost 4, which is relegation form. I think we have had 4 games at home televised, won 1 drawn 1 and lost 2. I still think we will do it as we have already beaten them twice but I think it will be squeezy sphincter time, particularly if we aren't ahead by half time
But relegation and promotion aren't only decided on televized games. I think part of the problem is shifting the game time....at home for a day match we will be fine.
Damn, if only those blasted cameras (which are at every game to film highlights anyway) didn't emit that anti-Saints radiation... oh wait! The TV curse is bullshit!
I would thoroughly recommend those who still believe all this "TV curse" nonsense to read the book, "Bad Science" by Simon Singh. I seem to remember that we were "bound to lose" against Leeds because of our, " first game curse". Fortunately, the team is obviously not so superstitious. Looking on the positive side, the match is on BBC, so even those without a wok on the side of their house will be able to set the recorder and relive every moment when they get back from St Marys. Life is too short to waste a moment on a load of superstitious cobblers.
