Home games currently, helped greatly by the fact theres been more and more knobheads going to our away games. I.e. Blackburn & Stoke, I dont hold much faith for these improving against Villa and the Bindippers.

yes i agree with that, i went to the blackburn match and it seemed very different as usual alot more young uns drinking and drunk! look like they could have been causing some trouble. i just enjoy it because its very upbeat standing up all the gamee, im in the family area at the moment and theres not much singing and standing!

Away days, just wish I'd got to more this year, think I might look at bus travel next year, as I would like to get more away games than my friends and family go to.

At the away games we're all grouped together and get behind the team as one, whereas at home games different areas of the fans are making different chants and it clashes a bit and we tend to drown each other out at times. Still plenty of noise of course but out of sync.

I prefer home games for the pubs and the lack of charvs that seem to infest every away trip.

Away games for the points above. Only been to about five but loved them. Shame about the knobhead generation coming through, and with me being similar age to them, I'll get tarred with the same brush despite never having caused any bother where ever I've been.

<laugh> Genuinley haven't though. Was caught in the middle of Kendal services when it all kicked off, hoying books and meerkats and a footy about though. Think I'm in a video on youtube passing through into Smiths whilst a ball's being pinged about.

I haven't missed an away game in 4 years, and only missed 5 in 6 years. So they must be doing something right, season ticket holder as well obviously.

Was that the day that the kid in the push chair almost got hit with the ball?

One or two of our guys were going to step in and give you hell if you hadn't stopped. You little hooligan!

You are a disgrace! I sit next to you at home games so know what you are like, throwing coins, vile language, standing on the seat, jumping all over people, throwing bottles at away fans. You sir, are shocking!

Fair crack to you lad, that is loyal support, I like going to away games, but there are weekends when I know I don't want to go to away games.

Blimey, glad I don't sit next to him, thought sitting next to my future brother in law at matches could be a nightmare.

Dunno, but a Meerkat got it's head ripped off <laugh>
I was just tryin' to buy a packet of crisps, honest ;)

Haha two of them, maybe :p At least I didn't try and crowd surf against the mackems, although that was one of the funniest things I've seen at a match... that and disco fingers :D

Do you get on with him? And as for the away games, I love the thrill of going with mates and supporting the Toon all around the country, I am a proud Geordie and love to show it(in a sensible fashion). I am surprised it doesn't drive my girlfriend mad, as long as we do things she likes as well.
