Arsenal striker Robin van Persie’s agent has held talks about a summer move to Juventus.

This doesn't make sense, why would he want to go to Juventus? Is Dein's son trying to cause a stir to greatly increase his wages or something? This is starting to drag like the other times. Sort it out now, i don't want another shambolic repeat thankyou!

Why are you overreacting to a daily mirror article? Next you'll be ringing Talksport to argue with Adrian Durham :p

I'm not overreacting but someone spreads these stories, and it's sometimes the agents to get better deals. I can only see RVP leaving for Barca or Real to be honest. More than likely he will stay, i hope.

As the season comes to the end the hacks need something to fill the pages of their rags. You would never read such drivel in the Morning Star (incorporating the Daily Worker for Peace and Socialism )

No way he would go to Juventus - their aura has wained in recent years, they are not the Juventus of old. To leave Arsenal and go to Italy surely only Inter or AC Milan would be your destination if you were RVP. In Spain only Real or Barcelona could move him away. If you aren't any of those teams I don't think RVP would consider moving to your club.

  9. I too doubt if RvP would go to Juventus and think there is a good chance he will stay. However I have to admit being a little unsettled by this dragging of feet and the part Darren Dein plays in the life of Arsenal.

The English Premier League will be stripped of almost the whole talent in them 2 years, first their all going to Spain and now even Serie A teams are picking them off... Is the Premier League really as attractive as I think?

How can he be talking about a summer move, wouldn't that be tapping up? Apparently Dein was seen going in to the odeon the other day, does that mean VP will be an usher next season?

  12. Sounds like media bollocks<ok>

RVP has said he wants to finish the season and then enter talks with Arsenal. I dont believe he would then be entering into talks with somonw else.

Sound slike John Cross, Mirror rubbish.

I'd say cash in; he will never have as good a season as this one. And he is hitting 30

Thats as well as maybe - but Juventus are NOT the name on everybody's lips, their hiatus from the Champion's League has tainted them (as well as the match fixing) and like I said, they don't have the draw of Inter or AC Milan at the moment <ok>

  17. I believe they have completely different characters - but time will tell. If we dont make the CL then I maintain what I have said previously - he will leave. If we get the CL, he wil stay. I believe this is his motivation for the delay, not cold hard cash - a la Nasri.

As I said - we'll wait and see.

To be honest I think the team most in danger of losing top players are Spurs. There could be a serious implosion at the club if they fail to make the CL.

Hmmm this is now getting worrying but the story originates from the Italian press and has been picked up by talk****e, daily mirror etc. Not sure if that's good or bad. I agree with EnglandsFinest statement if true we should cash in. No sense in having an unsettled player.

    Absolute non-sense.

Juve are a club struggling in a poor league. Cant see why Van Persie would want to play in Europe's 4th best league.

Barca wont want him and I doubt real would either. Real already have benzema and will buy young players if they buy. I think its either he moves to city or he stays with us.
