    <peacedove>WIGAN surprised every one at the Emirates Stadium last night,playing teams that are fighting relegation
    is not easy.The following teams are in danger of relegation or can be dragged into it.
    Aston Villa=35points
    Wigan =34points
    QPR =31 points
    Bolton =29 points
    Blackburn =28 points
    Wolves = 23 points
    Aston Villa.You can never rule anything out but I do not think they are going to be relegated.
    Wigan.The fighting spirit they have shown against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal
    can be their saviour. They are very unlucky not to get a point at least at Stanford Bridge.
    QPR.Since the appointment of Mark Hughes as manager they are fighting well, but they may have to depend
    on other results to be in their favour to cement another premiership year.
    Bolton.They have two games in hand over their relegation candidates winning those would take them to
    34 points. As we are all aware points in the bag is better than games in hand.
    Blackburn.The curse of being in the bottom of the league on Christmas day is still on them, they may need something like that of Lazarus to escape relegation.
    Wolves.I think it a matter of time before it is announced thast they are relegated, though mathematically it is
    possible to survive.<ok>

    bottom 3 as they are now will prob go down..... I am disgusted that wigan will survive. their empty ground and rutted rugby pitch doen't deserve premier football.

    It looks to me like Wolves are gone.
    Probably a three horse race now for the last safe place in the league between Bolton, Blackburn and QPR. I'd have to fancy Bolton to stay up as they have those two games in hand and are the only one of three that appear not to have internal problems.

    Wigan have been trying to get into the championship for a few seasons now but it looks like they've failed again.

    Seriously, the state of the ground isn't the player's fault and the way they've played recently I think they deserve to stay up.
    Bottom three as they are, for me too.

    What a stupid comment, if they have enough points they stay up, games are not decided on crowd size <doh>

    Wolves bottom.

    Blackburn and Bolton take up the rest.

    Martinez is a good manager and Wigan do play some nice football. Find a super goal scorer and they could fly up the table.

    Wolves dead and buried.Perm 2 from five
    Bolton.. Games to go: Aston Villa (a)Sunderland(a)Tottenham(h) West Brom (h)
    Blackburn. Games to go:Tottenham (a) Wigan(h) Chelsea (a)
    Wigan: Games to go:Newcastles (h) Blackburn (a) Wolves (h)
    QPR: Games to go:Chelsea (a) Stoke (h) Manchester City (a)
    Aston Villa:Games to go: Bolton (h)West Brom (a) Tottenham(h) Norwich(a)
    ~Aston Villa not out of danger yet, but I would be surprised if they are relegated , it will mean McLeish has brough down two Birmingham clubs one after another in two seasons.<ok>

    I don't want to see either Wigan or Bolton go but at least one probably will. Wouldn't mind seeing the back of blackburn though.

    I wanna see Joey Baton going down the divisions, I sit there watching Match of the Day for a few reasons:
    1)See QPR lose, Hope Joey Barton sees red
    2)Hope Wigan win
    3)Check that Torres isnt scoring for Chelsea

    But to answer the question, Wolves are already gone, Blackburn and QPR (but that may just be me willing QPR to go down)

    To be honest.... if you had not got a few wins under your belt early on in the season I would have Liverpool odds on for relegation.

    I'd like QPR and Blackburn to go down, i need Bolton to stay up, Coyle is a guru at developing our young players.

    Aston Villa can be dragged into it.
    Bolton winning yesterday and having a game in hand.
    Current points.#
    Aston Villa 36 points.
    QPR 34 points
    Bolton 33 points
    Blackburn 31 points.
    ~Bolton winning thier game in hand will be on the same point of 36 with Aston Villa. So Aston Villa is not save.<ok>

    the natural orde rof things should surely suggest that:

    a) blackburn have amateur hour owners and manager and by right should go. the guys who sold jackwalkers legacy to that town should be ahsamed of themselves.

    b) wigan have no fans, a rubbish pitch and can't defend. Again exmaples ike luton and southmapton exist showing that you can only right your luck so long like they are doing.

    Its quite simple the more hangers on that are only in it for the survival the lower standard the league is. I'd much rather see more blackpools and stokes and norwiches and indeed SWANSEAS. who come up and have genuine care about the game, how to supoprt thier team and contibute to the colour of the league.

    both blackburn and wigan only ever fill thier gorund by selling "home" tickets to away fans coming to see thier own teams. its sad but true.

    I hope Wigan go down, their fans are crap and even when they do well their stadium is half empty and they never come close to using their away ticket allocations
