I don't think I could ever be this nervous. I'd rather have an exam, or have 50 job interviews than the stress with saints over these past few weeks but It will definitely be worth it if we go up Saturday.

I'm going to throw this out there...I thought The Leicester game tonight was a fix. Leicester won 1 second ball all night. On the 90th minute Konchesky hoofed it away when the ball went out for a Leicester throw. Nugent was awful and had a massive grin on his face sat on the bench. Leicester gifted West Ham the ball on countless occasions and right in front of their own back four. Andy King who is Leicesters most creative player mysteriously went off at HT with an injury?! When Wellens had already gone off. Every Leicester cross was total ****e. West Ham didn't even looked panicked for one second or even have to exert much pressure. I love a good conspiracy theory.

Hope were up for this Saturday. Coventry will be so much tougher than we think. I'm over thinking.....arghhhhh!!!!

My son and I were seriously discussing selling our tickets in Mick Channon suite because I get so wound up, but decided it would be better to be there surrounded by like-minded people. Should be one of the best days of our footballing lives....shouldn't it? How did we get in this position? Or are we just torturing West Ham?

That would be a hell of a pitch invasion, it would be just you! Everyone else would have gone home by then!

Fans' comments are priceless. At half time in the league game against Coventry, there we were 2-0 up and a bloke says to his mate that he's going to grab another beer as "this lot are never going to score". 2-1 within seconds and 2-2 just after. OK we won it, but let's never underestimate another team.

Hopefully they will not keep us waiting until five (3 ish I think you mean without being a pedant) - tension for four and a half hours would be unbearable :s!

    Ha,

I don't think a lot of people realise it's at 12.30pm instead of the original 3pm.
Good to see ya on here OddRiverOakWizards. I seem to remember your name has origins in America - if I'm right o_O

I am going to bump so many threads at on Saturday evening so people can see how embarrassingly foolish they have been. Let's put this really simply....

....we have been in the top two all season FOR A REASON
....Coventry have been down the bottom all season FOR A REASON
....we are playing at home not away - the noise we will make will be like a 12th player

If you still have no faith even bearing in mind those three undeniable facts, Coventry's best player and their best hope of stopping Rickie and Billy is out. With the greatest of respect to them, if we could have chosen any team in the league to playing in this situation, I would bet most of us would have picked Coventry at home. Saturday is going to be a blast.

Come on now boys, get a grip or you will have a coronary by Saturday.

Nooooooooooooooo, an early goal is what I crave. An early goal would settle nerves and give West Ham a mountain to climb :).

An early goal settled my nerves against M'boro and look what happened there! A goal for Saints on 10 min and 23 min, followed by a goal at 55 min will do nicely.
