Much easier to look at things sensibly as a neutral. The stats look good, but the pressure is something that the stats don't show. Massive pressure on 90 minutes now. We simply must win, and as much as we should...its 11 vs 11 and anything can happen. Ohhhh I really HATE football sometimes

<yikes><laugh>

To be honest if Davis gets sent off in the 3rd minute after a giving away a penalty which is scored, I still think you'll win comfortably.

How does that sound?<laugh>

If we draw West Ham will have to win by four as we have scored more goals....I think. But if we can't beat Coventry, what the hell would we be doing in the Premier League.

There's no doubt in my mind that we're going to thrash Coventry this weekend. A sellout home crowd against an already relegated team... I don't think we could get it any easier. Coventry are down the bottom for a reason, put the champagne on ice come Saturday and get ready to party!

I think we are worrying too much tonight was a bonus game as i see it if the Foxes could have won it would have just been a wonderful day sat but lets look at it 3 goals better and 2 points better off also our goal scored is currently 81 and theres 79 so if we fail to win and only get a draw we still have a good chance as west ham are playing Hull who's defensive record is very good, and those that say Hull are playing for nothing neither are Coventry. We will be absolutely fine no worries at all, lets just enjoy it and get behind the boys my only worry now is that saints will be on TV as both Sky and Bbc have 1 game each ! COYR

Promotion at St Mary's it is then. Prepare yourselves for a memorable day.

Nolan's selfishness at the end there could yet cost them. If we draw (unlikely!), WH will need to win by at least three. That could so easily have been just two though, had Nolan rolled that to Lansbury.

By my calcs, if we draw 0-0, WH will have to win 3-0.

If we draw 1-1, WH will have to win 4-1 (or 4-0).

If we draw 2-2, WH will have to win 5-2 (or 5-1, or 5-0, or 4-0)

etc etc

momentum they have it we don't , we have pressure they have nothing to lose , we have the possibility of losing £90 million. .

No point putting an opinion like that on here mate. You're only allowed to voice one if you tow the happy clappers party line. Instead of pointing out that Saints have been **** in the last few games and blown it, try one of the following;
1) If you said at the start of the season we'd be here etc etc
2) We will thrash coventry 18-0 on saturday so everything is fine
3) Draw a blue line under it and move on usually prefixed with some stupid atkins-ism
4) Preferably a combination of all 3

Ha, that was never a pen.

Don't know why anyone's surprised by this result though, West Ham are a strong side.

But I also think people don't realise just how bad Coventry are. We'll beat them, no problem.

Absolutely. Opinions like that achieve nothing and only serve to drag everyone else down to your pathetic whiny level.
