i've said for a while that they, like us, were one of those clubs who needed to get relegated to league one in order to move the club forwards in the future. they have been struggling to stay in that league for years and a change of scenery is what they need. you could possibly throw ipswich into that category too. as i say above, it could all go very much pear-shaped but many have come back stronger - maybe, just maybe, they can join that list.
Clingan was a great player that season. How that ****wit Croft got player of the season I'll never know......hang on scrub that comment, I sit with those same voters. I understand fully why he won.
agree carrabuh. never understood how croft won it - clingan was by miles our best player that season. croft seemed to win it based on his goal against ipswich! shows how poor a side we had back then though if clingan was 'by miles' our best player
