Alex Thomson: "There is clearly and unambiguously not a bid on the table right now which can deliver RFC from administration"

In all my years of following Celtic and Scottish football, this year without doubt beats them all. Even the Lisbon Lions and all their
success, cannot beat the fact that at last Rangers who have cheated and bullied their way through Scottish Football for almost
one hundred and forty years are now within hours of been liquidated, actually dying in front of our eyes. Nothing could please Celtic
fans more. When Rangers are gone and forgotten, we hope to have a decent and fair playing pitch. No longer will clubs like M'well
carry spite and hatred against Cetlic and Celtic fans; without their big leader urging them on to do what it takes to hinder Celtic, the
whole league will be better. It was a fine gesture of M'well player to applaud the Killie players on to pitch for the next league game after
Killie won the league cup. Pity they did not have the manners to do so, for Celtic's first league game after winning the SPL.

I only like laughing at the Rangers situation. At the end of the day the Old Firm rivalry is conversely an embarrassment, a distraction and a good bit of banter.

Celtic are the team I support; winning trophies and our success will always excite me more than whatever pish is going on down in Govan.

Duff and phelps are in court on wednesday, no idea why though. Likely a formality to report on the creditors meeting.

Harry, I worry big time. Police will watch G.B full time and Craig Thompson has not the nerve to deal with elbows.
Rangers players will have the freedom to do as they please.

The whole thing is rotten. Miller saying he's prepared to wait yet on Friday he said that if there was no other bidder by Monday he would wire 500,000 to D&P for exclusivity.

    He also said:

"However, at the request of the administrators, I will wait to enter into exclusivity in order to give The Blue Knights/Ticketus more time to put an alternative offer on the table for the administrators to evaluate."

Now, maybe it's just me, but if I was desperate to get my hands on a business I wouldn't be granting a main rival extra time to put in an improved offer. Altruism's one thing but going out your way to help a business rival is a very strange stance to take.

What I'm hearing is that Miller requested the wait himself because of concerns about the level of SFA censure on the club. This allowed TBK time to try again to get a foot back in the door.

But who the **** knows anymore.

Sounds likely. Miller was chancing his arm and the SFA didnt go for it.
