Completely off topic and hoping for peace to break out, we have a newish Japanese takeaway in Weston, I've just had wholegrain rice, chicken breast, mushrooms and peanut satay sauce and I can't remember when I last enjoyed a meal more! I'm stuffed!
A certain section of our fans needs to learn to relax and enjoy what we have achieved and also react appropriately to results. Cannot believe the over-reaction from some sections of our fans, resonant of the Leicester defeat certainly. We din't play our best, but do you honestly believe Lambert is going to let this season rest? I'm going to keep relatively quiet on all this because I don't want to start any rows.

Small town Norwich attitude prevails again. Haven't we got a nice cathedral, Haven't we got a lovely ground. Lets all vote for the best strip. Lets not fall out and all agree with one another. ILD and I have totally different views to many of you. We have not and never will boo the club or players. When I watch them I sing my lungs out and sing when we go behind not just when we're winning. Carrow Road is like a library sometimes while all the thinkers discuss. Football is emotion and passion not psychology. If someone is playing crap we will say so and if Lambert gets it wrong we will say so. I'm not thankful for having all these chaps at the club. I'm glad they are here and playing well but I don't owe them a vote of thanks or gratitude. Its professional football. You pay your money and get something in return. In five years time most of these guys will be gone and a new set of heros will have arrived. Don't insult people whose passion matches or exceeds yours.
I just fail to see how saying player x or player y is playing crap can do anything other than have a negative effect.
just cos we pay a fortune to watch our team does not give us the right to expect great results, great performances and great entertainment. if that were the case, every single fan in the country would be happy and thats not possible because we all have to play each other. being a football supporter is not about wanting to see great entertainment every week - its about being passionate about your team and wanting the best for them. that doesn't very often happen and if you think it should you are watching the wrong sport... or watching the wrong team at least! try man united. we should all be proud of what our team have achieved, not rowing about one or two players who have had a couple of bad games lately - its utterly pathetic
i would like to ask the people who are moaning whether they were the same people who said we'd go down at the start of the season. i suspect they were.
I want what's best for Norwich City. I want them to, at least, finish top half of the premiership every year. To acheive that, the team are going to have to put in great performances, and get great results. Of course you have to be passionate about your club, but that won't make us successful.
Jesus, have you forgotten where we have come from? There are teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and now Newcastle who will (Or at least should) be occupying the top 7 spots of the league. And then there are other very good sides like Everton, Sunderland etc so finishing in top half of the table is a big ask and such expectancy is extremely unhelpful. Not small club mentality, just being realistic!
