we have a rather raucous group of players personality wise at the moment. everything i've seen and heard re: morison's personality suggests he may have found it a struggle to feel a part of that team bond. if the case, that is not his fault and to put pressure on him or to single him out is only ever going to make things worse. no doubt someone will remark that he should 'grow up' or something along those lines but in all honesty i'm starting to wonder if the guy is better off away from our club, seeing as he obviously can do no right in many peoples eyes. and anyone who thinks its fine to single a player out just because they are having a poor game deserves dogs abuse back.
Please fellas, can we all take a step back and let the dog see the rabbit! We all love the same club, we have just had 3 fantastic years, so let's ALL please stop the petty squabbling! What the hell will happen if we have a bad run next year? Of course we all have different opinions, and none of them are necessarily wrong, we just look at things differently that's all! Please, no more name calling! Thank you!
There you go again!!! Preaching away, I actually believe YOU are the worst fan this club has ever had. 70 people and my bosses are happy with my management! Have you ever managed anything? ILD OTBC
ILD, it's unbelievable how you perceive this. Yes he's not getting a lot of goals at the moment, but we know he's got goals in him, and good ones at that. Just look at his goals against Blackburn and Newcastle.
Sorry Dave & Maestro, that is NOT any form of argument, it's simple abuse, you don't know me or what I do, you have NO right to judge me. If you can't have a reasoned argument, resort to name calling!! ILD OTBC
Don't ask me to take sides because I won't! I value the contributions from both of you, and I would hate to lose either of you, but we can't just keep calling each other names, it's no good for OUR team ethic! Can you please just agree to disagree and we'll move on?
But he hasn't! It just happens he's played in the games we've played badly in and as a result he looks poor because all he is doing is chasing long balls for 90 minutes!
Understand that Wonky, and I agree with you, but he's not doing it now, those goals were ages ago. We just can't rely on Holty all the time! Something's wrong and needs to be sorted out, but I don't think a pat on the back is the way forward thats all I'm saying. ILD OTBC
Mate, I can't agree with that, he gives up too easily on the chase, that's his biggest problem. Other people on here say that thats when he's at his best, playing up front on his own, chasing the long ball?? I would happily give him a start for the last 3 games, to prove me wrong, but I don't think he can or will, sorry! ILD OTBC
YOU don't know Morison yet it's ok for you to judge him??? PS I am pleased that you agree that booing is wrong, if I owe you an apology in that direction it's given
bloody hell. i was agreeing with dave to stop the name calling seriously, are you obsessed with being wrong or something???
in an attempt to find a real reason for peoples vastly opposing views, may i make the suggestion that had grant holt never played for this football club, steve morison would currently be deemed an excellent centre forward? holt's never-say-die attitude and constant work ethic make him a fans favourite and were the goals to dry up, he would be forgiven. morison plays the game totally different and because he doesn't chase lost causes and looks like a wet weekend in cleethorpes he gets a rough deal. it doesn't make him ****e at football, it just means its more noticeable when he's off colour
