    I've been defending Pardew on a number of issues recently but if he signs him I may have to switch sides. Cole is utter rubbish.

    Oh Christ, if this really is the calibre of player we're looking at, then I worry for us next season.

    Apparently we have 2 international players lined up, he is technically capped...

    I am having faith and trusting in Pardew that this is ****e.
    It's pretty much certain that we've at least been looking at Gervinho - these two are on a completely different level to each other and I don't see why we would look at someone like Cole if we have a player like Gervinho in our books.
    Also, it really annoys me how every transfer is to 'fill carroll's boots'. Maybe i'm just bitter that he left but I wish they'd let it go! It's to strengthen our squad dammit!

    To be honest, Shola actually anit much better than Cole. He's a older Carlton Cole IMO(Shola).
