Quick question - I just received an email highlighting that Manish seemed to be goading CAFC fans on the FLS and said we were becoming to ''lairy(sic)''. Was that the case? EdIT Just checked his Twitter, seems to have some sort of resentment to us: https://twitter.com/#!/bbc_manish
He's a Leicester City fan and probably resents the facts : 1 their former assistant manager is doing so well in SE7 (again) but wasn't considered capable by their owners. 2 a few of our players underperformed at Leicester and with the right management are performing really well in SE7 3 Yann Kermorgant
I just think he's a pleb who objects to that show being criticised. only thing is, the criticisms are correct - shows being axed thankfully.
Did anyone actually see it? I'm just curious as to what he said. All I can find is people on other forums mentioning tid bits of what was said. We've gotten a rough deal from that show between that **** Lizzie and now Manish. The club haven't been particularly happy with the show in the past (though I suppose most clubs aren't). If it's been axed then good.
Ive just tweeted him, i am playing it "friendly" at the moment, if he responds and is not "friendly" it will be banter time. I will keep you posted...
There were apparently some abusive and nasty comments from Charlton fans, which he was responding to.
It must be the usual gremlins doing the club a disservice as ever with their abuse of free speech, why doesn't the club eject them for good.
Or it could be some Charlton fans just calling a 'Winker' a 'Winker' and to be honest I couldn't argue with them The sooner that programme's off our screens the better!
I don't see the point of the show, or should i say presenters. I have it recorded then proceed to fast forward until the games i wanna see. Rather then the BBC wasting money on these "experts" and a 90 minutes of 10 second highlights for most of the teams they should just stick to putting a couple of minutes worth of highlights on each clubs BBC page for their matches, easier for everyone
they should pick out 3 matches, one from each league. cover them properly for 15 mins each or so. and have the rest on the red button. gives the viewers what they want, then every so often your team is one of the 3 matches that has "expert" analysis at the end. hate this show, find myself scratching my head every saturday night wondering why i stayed up for 1 min 8 secs worth of useful viewing.
Do have to laugh at the football league show, how Steve Claridge is considered a pundit is baffling, I'm pretty sure everyone in the world of football who is even aware he exists really don't care what he has to say, it is always complete nonsense. When you consider we are on course to break the league one points total record, at no point during this season have we been given any real air time. The Sheffield clubs and other london clubs all get more of a say than we do. Pointless show, pointless presenters.
