SB3, is your pet Octopus able to give a prediction on whether Leicester will beat Wet Spam tonight? It would stop my derriere from squeaking.
I think your derriere is safe Sweep. I mean. Even if the Foxes get Hammered can you honestly see Saints ballsing it up against Coventry?
All I will say being relegated is not good have been a saints fan for 38 years have seen highs and lows have seen saints win the fa cup lose an fa cup etc etc etc relegation means start again take stock, not sure there's a new owner on the horizon with millions to spare in present financial climate....all the best whatever leaque u end up in... Happy st georges day
Rangers v Portsmouth........has been confirmed for end of season friendly... Being billed as....EL BRASSICO...
what you forget is that SFC went into admin on the back of a £30M mortgage on a stadium worth ......... £30M ish & a £4.5M overdraft with Barclays. So you could argue our total debt was "only" £5M. Yep, we still had too many excessive player wage bills to pay, even though we had a 50% cut on virtually every player when we took the hit from Prem to Championship. Player wages would have continued to make things worsen on the £5M debt & that's erffectively why Barclays put us into admin. Not Norwich Union (mortgage) btw. Now go comapre !! You're living in cloud cookop land with stupid nieve statments like that. SFC tried to control the club financially but ultimately failed with tiny debts compared to your crowd. We got bought, because we had really good £ assets such as a superb stadium & training faciity & potential to progress again. Again, go compare. Sorry to sound aggressive but we're unlucky with our financial plight. Certainly not the same for you guys.

Pompey fans seem oblivious to the fact that if they do survive the summer and play in League One next season they are very likely to be doing so with a huge points deduction. The 2010 CVA was not met. Clubs have been hit hard before when they haven't agreed a CVA to exit admin, Pompey agreed a CVA and then didn't meet it when payments were due to start. They amount to the same thing and should be punished as such. They will be further hit if the 2012 CVA isn't agreed. The may beat Luton Town's record of -30 points being dished out to them. The situation is to be discussed at the next meeting of the Football League board and it really isn't looking good for Pompey.
Hey what happened to my 'fell ponies' at risk from an invasion of South Coast pony fiddlers in Middlesborough last Saturday? Surely that harmless article was not moderated?
Due to the invasion of middle-aged men wearing face-paint and wigs, the fell ponies all ran off scared.
The Octopus football league, thought about having an Octopus Euro Champions league, but gave up the idea due to massive fixture congestion.
Time for a change of emphasis guys. Forget about what league you are in next season - survival as a club is the no 1 priority, although I think there is little you can do to influence events. If you survive as a club, League 1 is not the end of the world & I think most saints fans would agree we had a fairly exciting season there. It certainly ain,t a pushover - there a lot of experienced old hand in that division - and Rochdale did the double over us the first season!!
