Completely agree, so much potential and he's much more of an inside forward than a winger, would make a perfect right ST position in a 4-3-3.

Right, I have been away all weekend, catching up with old teammates, played in an alumni game, got pissed, etc. Saw we were playing WBA today at home, without even watching the game, without seeing a ball kicked, I already knew what was going to happen. There was an article a few days ago " Are we just a cup team"....... you bet your ass we are. This was the year we were supposed to be focused on the league, no other distractions, hoping for a good cup run which we got, but we had no other distractions. Everything that needed to happen to get 4th happened and yet we still slipped up. It is a shame and I look forward to the FA Cup because I know the real Liverpool will show up for that, but in the league, we just continue to be found out and it is a shame as that, for me, is what we should have been aiming for this year.
I just can't help but think that with a top striker and someone better than Downing we would be well on our way. Hope the summer bares good news. Plus Benega would be ace.
