The biggest flaw with all these arguments from wums is this: Newcastle, Everton, Spurs, Arsenal etc may finish above LFC this season, these small clubs will pat themselves on the back and think they are great. We on the other hand may well win two cups, and we will find this unacceptable, why? Because we are winner, we have pedigree. We won't rest in the summer, we will re-invest until we get back to where we belong, challending for domestic titles in the league and continetent. We will be back, absolutely no question.

When I last went to Anfield I saw a tiny ground surrounded by a huge council estate lol Where exactly has all the money you have made gone over the past 30 years? it is certainly NOT in the stadium or its facilities!
Build a stadium that matches upto ours ould cost you 100s of millions of pounds! Consider that before you start calling Newcastle or Arsenal a 'smaller club'

Finishing 7th/8th and winning 2 trophies would equal Newcastle's best season in near enough 50 years. Its debatable whether its good enough for Liverpool, I think that's the main difference between an average sized club like Newcastle and a HUGE one like Liverpool. The biggest flaw with all these arguments from wums is this: Newcastle, Everton, Spurs, Arsenal etc may finish above LFC this season, these small clubs will pat themselves on the back and think they are great. This comment alone shows are utterly ******ed you are. Do your research on our finances, then come tell us how we're going to meet the FFP. Oh yes! We aint bothered about them.Where do you think the carrol money has gone?? - Cabeye and Cisse. Losing a cart horse and gaining better players in return whilst pocketing some cash for the club. Just how do Liverpool plan to meet the financial fair play regulations? oh yes! - You only have to meet them if you want to play in the european compititions lol
....scratch that lol dont worry about it! spend away!
FSG will make a decision, to either build a new stadium or renovate anfield. They will take there time to make the right decision, because they are here for the long-term. they are extremly shrewd business men with a proven track record of success. It's all about long-term strategic planning.
Irrelevant to my question.Where did all the money go that you have made over the past 30 odd years though? you could have rebuilt Anfield 100 times over.

Try again.
Yes, league matters, but the world does not end today. It's all about the long term. Your argument is extremly flawed.

lol lol lol How predictable !
Their long term strategy has lasted 50 trophyless seasons and is at last beginning to bare fruit.
Give the lad a chance.

Isn't that interesting. I don't think you have ever been to Anfield as it is not surrounded by a huge council estate.
Slow and steady wins the race etc.
